I expected to receive 100 cards as the photo stated but instead received a package containing half of the amount. When I requested the 100 pack to be sent, I received another package of 50 and was charged again. NOT HAPPY!

As a professional artist, Ive been using Strathmore products for many years. These cards are made of heavy watercolor paper. Ive used all media on these cards - watercolor, acrylic, collage, ink and even spray paint. Never disappointed. The envelopes are well made as well with a heavy stock. I always keep these cards in my studio...a homemade card is always a special gift.

The cards themselves are excellent quality water color paper. The cards though are really one sided (the inside had hardly any texture). The envelopes are great as envelopes but they are a different, thinner paper. Overall I would highly recommend this. Of the many different types of water color cards Ive tried these are by far the best!

I love these cards. I just bought a second set. I use them mainly for watercolor, but have used color pencils (prismacolor and raffine), neocolors, derwent inktense and mixed media on them. They are also great for zentangle. The set I have is white and the envelopes are a shade whiter. Rarely when you buy a store bought greeting card does the envelope and card match exactly. The envelopes in the set I bought have a straight edge. The cards themselves have a texture and arrive flat with a crease down the center, making it suitable for either a landscape or portrait card. My printer does not accept this heavy of paper. My husband took the box to Fed-Ex this past fall and they said their copy machines would not take it either. I am not sure if this is 100% accurate as someone said that if you do it yourself the copy machines will accept it.

I had a set of these but couldnt find them so I ordered another set from Amazon. I have plenty of 140 lb watercolor paper I can use for cards, but having them pre-cut to the right size, folded and with envelopes makes it just so much easier. I taped four of them down to a masonite board and did a bunch of wet on wet watercolor paintings for Christmas cards. The paper stood up to the buckling and settled back down flat, accepted the watercolors with no effort, withstood scrubbings and lifting of paint, and even went through my color printer (for the inside text) with no problems! Fine product and my only wish is that they make this with hot press paper as well!

These cards are so perfect for my mom in assisted living. She is an artist and loves these to paint with her watercolors and send to friends and family! We love them too!
