These are real postcards, nice and sturdy. Good for sketching, decoupage, paints, pen/ink on watercolor, collage and other multi-media. I use these in creativity classes I teach, and I keep plenty on hand to send. Especially with stress and anxiety these days, this is a lifesaver.

Im a graphic designer working mostly in print (rather than web) so I have always been interested in papers...selecting the right paper is a big part of my job. Anyway, love these high quality cards. I use them to mount my own 4x6 photos on the front with photo corners or double sided sticky tape. I sign them in small writing underneath. People love getting them so much that sometimes I see that they have the whole card framed. AND, the card is sturdy enough to stand up on its own (tent-style). I highly recommend these! Love the deckle-edge, its a very elegant touch!

Buy them about three times a year and it’s worth every penny. I make my card for gifts

My career was in the printing industry. Strathmore has always been an exceptional supplier. Since I retired Ive been using these cards for 4 years printing reproductions of my original art on them with my Canon printer. The heavier card stock and high quality appearance of the reproduced art has been wonderful. And my customers love them. However, the make up of the paper stock has been changing. I started noticing this on purchases before my last art and craft show in June 2015. I have purchased a couple of times from different sellers since then and the problem continues across the board. I can no longer get a beautiful smooth appearance on a solid area of color on many of my paintings (and this is on a note card)! Even my husband agreed, . . . you cant sell those. Also the original deckled edge on the envelopes was changed to a straight edge and the price has continued to go up. Im very disappointed, as the original stock could not be touched by competition.

Ive always used Strathmore Watercolor Greeting Cards and enjoy them. This time I needed a larger amount than usual so I ordered these. Even though theyre for watercolors they can be used with mixed media. Ive been using this brand of blank greeting cards since the 90s and they havent let me down yet.

Good quality and especially for the price - I like the paper for doodling or making my own cards to send friends.

I wish there had been some information about the weight of the paper. I expected a similar weight to the Strathmore watercolor cards or their mixed media cards. These are so light and flimsy they will hardly stand up. They are a bit better used in portrait orientation rather than landscape orientation. Less stress on the fold that way, so they at least dont fall flat. I might try using them that way. On the other hand it might be better to return them, cut some black watercolor paper to the needed size and then attach the picture to a watercolor or mixed media card. Disappointing after my good experiences with other Strathmore cards.

Strathmore is slipping. WAS a reliable brand but not so much anymore. Mixed Media cards 10 x 7, and scored for easy folding. They are white, slightly textured, heavy enough to accept collage, Turkish marbling, light watercolor. Ive been using these for years and am very disappointed in my latest purchase. Envelopes do NOT match the cards (they DO match the Printmaking cards which are more a cream color) and at least a dozen of the cards are NOT scored in the center.

This year I am painting Christmas cards for family and friends. I love the painting surface, it is very easy to paint to on. There was very very minimal buckling (I taped the corners down after painting background), but they did dry flat. I am very impressed. I have a feeling I will be painting cards for all kinds of occasions now.

As a professional artist, Ive been using Strathmore products for many years. These cards are made of heavy watercolor paper. Ive used all media on these cards - watercolor, acrylic, collage, ink and even spray paint. Never disappointed. The envelopes are well made as well with a heavy stock. I always keep these cards in my studio...a homemade card is always a special gift.
