Small., durable and POWERFUL. I am generally regarded as being skeptical and hard to please when it comes to equipment to protect my family. This Streamlight product checks all the right boxes. I dont need to list all the virtues here because you can simply review them on this product page. This flashlight should give you everything that you need in a handy package. Suffice it to say that Streamlight once again delivers an outstanding product that is versatile, easy to use, and can be charged via USB . I use it every night in Southwest Florida when I take our Irish Wolfhounds out for their last walk of the evening. Most of our critters forage at night and its nice to spot them before either I or the hounds find ourselves too close. Several friends have had their pets bitten by rattlesnakes, either Eastern Diamondback or Pygmy. We live in a rural area and even though our 2.75 acres are fenced in, snakes can slither through the fence and all manner of warm- blooded critters can climb it. One night a Florida Barred Owl worked its way down our chimney and through the kitchen range hood at 3:30 one morning. We have pretty much seen it all here in our yard and are just waiting for the appearance of pythons as they continue to move northward. Thank God feral hogs cant get in! So if you need something bright, reliable and easy to handle, this is the light for you.

Super bright flash light. Down side, is that when the batteries begin to die it changes to a power save mode and its very dim. Plus side is that the batteries will last about an hour.

Extremely bright flash light, defiantly recommend having one

It broke after a few months and I hardly ever used it. The light doesnt turn on. I found out that by screwing the battery cap slowly away from the most tightened position the light works (for a little), then goes out again. Really annoying....

Great light! I use mine for duty carry. Compact, easy to use, durable, and very bright! Spend the extra money and get the charger and rechargeable batteries. I would also purchase a different holster if its something you will be using daily.

Great flashlights for the price

Very good brightness. Too large for EDC but great for around the house and I like that it accepts a rechargeable battery as well.

Bright as all get out!!!

At first I was disappointed, when I tried the light in the kitchen; it seemed yellowish and didn’t appear to be much brighter than some of my less expensive lights. I prefer a whiter light, which appears brighter. Then I took it outside and wow, I was impressed. It’s obvious the engineer’s paid close attention to the optics, as it has a nice spot with seamless spillover for great peripheral vision. This light totally illuminates my back yard. Whether you’re a home owner trying to see what went bump in the night, or a LEO clearing a room or backyard, you will love this light. While I still prefer the whiter light, if I were to buy another light at this price point, I would buy another Streamlight 88065. I was so impressed with the Streamlight 88065, I bought the Streamlight Protac HL5-X Series with 3500 Lumen output, it’s insanely bright. If you want something larger and brighter, check it out. I’m now a Streamlight fan.

This is my third flashlight from them and is by far the best light I’ve owned very bright when you need it but haveing the ability to go to low mode is just great. I use this light every day. Great product as always.
