> 3 dayGreat flashlight for any use including tactical. Not a typical on/off but can be programmed for different modes. Slightly expensive but worth the expense.

> 3 dayI bought this as a pocket light after owning the Protac HL-X rail mount version. After trying several sets on batteries Ive found that this hand held version is quite a bit dimmer than my rail mounted light. Not sure if its just mine or if its a common theme. The rest of the light is great, and its still plenty bright, but I was expecting the same output as my Railmount.

> 3 dayIts a bright light that comes on in the brightest mode and then cycles to the other modes. Less bright (this isnt ever dim) and then strobe. Pros: Rugged body, easy to operate, and not as expensive as other similar flashlights. It comes with a clip and a caring pouch. Cons: it takes cr123 batteries

> 3 dayNot a great EDC light because of its size, but a fantastic light to keep in a vehicle. Lots of light.

> 3 dayExcellent little light ( ProTac HL-X ). The TapTen programming lets you enable and disable lighting modes you dont use. Very bright on high, blinding. I especially like the low and medium settings since low is still bright enough for a lot of general use and medium is bright enough to temporarily blind someone, but without the high power drain of the full 1000 lumens. Battery life seems to be good, I havent drained the ones that came with it. You can also use 18650 batteries if you want rechargeable high capacity batteries. The clip is good, can be used to hang in your pocket or off the brim of a hat for head mounting, but could have a stronger spring to it. I love the tough construction, it feels very solid in the hand, and the angles on the head casing keep it from rolling around on a table. The one downside is the beam is not adjustable. You cant get a really wide flood, but the fixed beam does have a nice spotlight in the middle with a good transition of illumination to the edges. No visible halo edges or dark spots.

22-11-2024I had this mounted on a pump shotgun and the light would flicker just by racking the forend. I also tested the light by gently bumping it on a table and it flickered in that instance as well. I opened up the light and noticed theres no front spring preventing the batteries from impacting the circuits, which is kind of pathetic since I have dual spring lights that dont flicker and only cost a fraction of the price, like the Atactical A1S.

> 3 dayNot as big as I thought it would be, which is a good thing. Fits in the pockets just fine. Clip holds extremely well since it is screwed on. The 27,000 candela produces a very pronounced white spot and has a lot of throw. For its size and price this is an EDC must have.

22-11-2024Where is the 18650 USB battery with an integrated USB charge port. Thought it inclueded a 18650 USB battery as well. Its an amazing torch - but I was expecting the 18650 USB battery in the package.

> 3 dayI bought this one to add to my EDC lights and being a streamlight, it doesnt disappooint. The quality is good and the light is more than what you will need for most EDC situations. This is a good one for you BOB.
