> 3 dayI used this on embroidery projects. It works just fine if you use it in small pieces. After awhile it does loose its stick. As far as rinsing it away well...be patient.

> 3 dayI think this is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Im currently doing Leah Days machine quilting block party. I havent quilted her style before (I really like it) so I needed to have a good copy of her quilting pattern for each block. Hers are really detailed though so after one try, I knew I needed something accurate and this fits the bill. I was slightly off on my seam on one block, so I printed the design on a sheet of the Sulky and cut it apart before laying it down. Its easy to cut, doesnt stick to itself or other things. I thought it was great! I recommended it to a friend who decided it was not transparent enough for her.

Caveat Emptor
Greater than one weekInitially, I had the same problem with this Sulky product as many other reviewers--it gummed up the needle terribly and I had to clean the needle every couple of stitches. However, this issue went away after a couple of days of the Sulky adhering to the fabric. Poking the needle into the little holes that are naturally present on the surface of the Sulky sheet also helped with the gunk problem, though thats something only possible if they aligned with the design. Overall, its not a perfect product for every project due to its thickness and the adhesive issues, but for me it was a heaven-sent time saver and worked out rather well for a hand-embroidering on wool project. The design printed faithfully and reasonably clearly from the my inkjet printer, and the adhesive lasted through many days of sitting on the embroidery hoop without shifting.

> 3 dayI love this product! I recently decided to incorporate embroidery in my quilting. I found an amazing block of the month program with embroidery designs to coordinate with each month of the program. The designer suggested using this product to copy the design, stick it to the fabric and embroider it. I love that this store carries it on Amazon at a very good price. I had no problems embroidering my design...my needle did not gum up and I didnt have to use a hoop as this product stabilizes the fabric so well. I had no issues getting the stabilizer to dissolve when finished with my design...I used hotter water than warm, dunked it a couple of times and was so pleased with the way it dissolved completely. I am loving doing embroidery again and will use this product for all my future embroidery needs. I never cease to be amazed at the new products available to help make sewing so much easier!

> 3 dayThe Sulky Printable Fabric Solvy stabilizer, 8.5 x 11 12-Pack, White is a very good product. I use this product for hand embroidery. Its not very tacky and is very easy to dissolve in water.

> 3 dayIf half stars were allowed this would be 4.5. All in all I am a big fan of this product. It works so well for copying embroidery, or other, kinds of patterns. It adheres to your fabric and is very easy to sew through. It washes away completely, soak to,lift and then I use a bit more pressure or a soft brush to get to the smaller and more heavily stitched areas. Simple. Easy. Effective. The only reason I would consider subtracting a half star is because ,as you sew, embroider or manipulate the fabric the edges can lift slightly. That being said, the slight lifting has never affected the sewing areas and it is very minimal....so this is really just a niggle, not a real problem. For the convenience and multiuse use-ability of this product I cannot think of anything that produces a better result! Love it!

> 3 dayWow! This works so well! I had been struggling with trying to figure out how to do my stencils and this makes it so incredibly easy. Easy to use, stays on the fabric until you wet it and doesn’t leave any residue as long as you rinse/wash it well. 10/10 would recommend

> 3 dayI used this for hand embroidery to be able to see my design over black fabric. It adhered well, but was a little stretchy, so it did make some of the stitches look off. I did have problems with it sticking to my needle, which didnt bother me much unless I couldnt put my needle through. I dissolved well, but its kind of thick so it didnt come off all of the way. I used cotton swabs to get the excess off and tried rinsing multiple times. It didnt come out under the satin stitches, so the stitches looked stuck together or most were stuck together and gave the thread a dull finish.
