very nice item. easy to read straight edge, light weight but strong

I purchased the Swanson non-marring straightedge in order to apply some body-side moldings to my new car. Coupled with some painters tape and a few other basic supplies, the straightedge worked very well with easy-to-read markings, a nice rubber-backed surface that didnt scratch up the car paint, and a nice hanging hole to keep it hanging in a closet when we were ready to put it away.

This is a very nice ruler for me to use cutting glass, its sturdy & I like having my fingers out of the way of the cutter

Excellent, I purchased the 48 straight edges.

To clarify the obvious, it’s not a precision straight edge. It is however decently straight for what it is with a ruler as accurate as any non-precision standard ruler. So if your using a feeler gauge to check for straight you bought the wrong product.

I like the angled L part which makes it easy to grab. The rubber bottom doesnt slide on the leather that I cut. Wish I would have had this years ago.
