> 3 dayUnable to remove Ridge Plastic Hang Tag. What appears to be a screw just turns. The diagram of scissors cutting across the label resulted in a cut label top with the remaining Ridge Plastic Hang Tag firmly attached to the ruler. The ruler cannot be used with this hard plastic attached because the ruler will not sit level. HELP.. The questions section does not address this issue and there are no new questions allowed.. Come on Swanson Tool Co of Frankfort, IL, offer some customer service and explain how to remove this incredible Hang Tag without damaging the ruler.

> 3 dayI bought the 96 for cutting drywall without the mis-match you get from cutting from each side with a regular T square. It works great! I was a little worried that it would arrive bent due to its size but it was in a box and got to me just fine. The rubber non-slip bottom is great and keeps the edge from moving on the sheet as you score the paper. Top curls over to protect your hand/fingers and there is a flat spot for the razor to butt against. Highly recommended for straight cuts.

> 3 dayI own several Swanson products and have owned for many years, this is just my newest tool of theirs. Ill be using this Savage 72 Straight Edge for woodworking, so its important that its flat and straight (within tolerance). Its very flat and very straight. Its also in-expensive so for a beginner like myself I like that I can go to a company like Swanson and pick up several good quality items without breaking the bank. Secondly and probably most important is the customer service. I reached out asking a question about the 72 Savage and the company reached out to me. They answered all my questions timely and made sure as a customer, I was happy.

> 3 dayTo clarify the obvious, it’s not a precision straight edge. It is however decently straight for what it is with a ruler as accurate as any non-precision standard ruler. So if your using a feeler gauge to check for straight you bought the wrong product.

> 3 dayMostly straight but not as good as my machinist square. I see light in a few places when holding the blade to the Swanson... but good enough for home woodworking or hobbies.

> 3 dayThis has turned out to be one of the nicest tools I own. Very high quality. Easy to use and very well suited to its purpose. Even the color is great. Highly recommended. I fully intend to buy the same straight edge in other lengths.
