When I received the straightedge it was at bowed at least 1/8. The package appeared ok, so I think this item was manufactured this way. I returned the straightedge and Amazon promptly credited my account.

Excellent straight edge for the price. Same quality as the Big Blue but 75% cheaper.

I bought this for occasional use, and it is fine for that kind of use. The markings are clear, and the edges are smooth. This should last a DIYer for a lifetime easily but without engraved markings, I would hesitate to recommend it for professional use.

This could have been sent out damaged or it was the poor packing (as others mentioned it ships lose in box). There are chips along the straight edge. Slight arch in center. The non-slip webbing looks sloppy and it is not durable, as bits came off on arrival. I would buy a cork backed srtraight edge made of stainless that wont chip.

It is really good quality and inexpensive.

This is a very good straight edge. The non slip on the bottom side is a great feature. We clamped it on each end onto the OSB wood sheet and clamped it down. The only problem then was when we were cutting with the circular saw the weight of the saw when you get toward the middle of the 4 ft width of the OSB sheet causes the wood to bow down some and the saw guard slid under the straight edge - thus causing a not so straight edge to our cut. After that happening once we would have someone hold a piece of wood on the backside of the straight edge in the middle to keep it on the OSB as the saw was cutting. Yes,, I would recommend this to others - I am happy with it. Quality is good
