> 24 hourYears back I got into shaving with a straight razor because I have sensitive skin and shaving made my one I break out. And I tried lots of shave soaps. No really. Lots. Taylor of old bond st - everything they make- smells amazing. A smoother shave than most. And clean skin after. The peppermint I thought would be refreshing coming off a cold winter and with spring rolling around. I wasn’t wrong.

> 24 hourGreat shaving cream! My first shaving cream purchase was from Taylor of Old Bond Street but the Sandalwood scented version. Eventually I ran out of the sandalwood cream, so I decided to try out the Peppermint scented version. I have to say that I enjoy the peppermint version more than the sandalwood. It is obvious that it smells like peppermint, but (and I may sound weird for saying this) it feels like peppermint. I shave with double-edged safety razor, so ideally I wet shave. When I was lathering my face with this cream all was normal, until bang! My face began to tingle. You could feel the peppermint. So if you have sensitive skin, maybe try another scent. I love this companys shaving cream because its good for your face, and a lot goes a long way.

> 24 hourThis is my first outing with this brand and Im very pleased. Great scent and a just a little tingly on the skin, I assume due to the peppermint oil. Although, just enough to be a pleasant sensation. I cant imagine it would even bother those with sensitive skin. Id definitely purchase this again.

> 24 hourI love peppermint washes and creams and this shave cream surely does not fall short in letting you know you are in fact shaving with a peppermint cream through scent and sensation. It has the warming sensation that typically accompanies peppermint, a nice little morning wake me up in addition your coffee. It also coats and lathers extremely well especially compared to Proraso creams. You only need to dab just the tiniest amount on your brush to get it going after wetting the brush. It is not however as gentle and nourishing as Proraso creams as it does leave one of those slightly sticky films on your skin that will linger unless you treat with a moisturizing cream thereafter. Overall, a great shave soap/cream option to add to your wet shaving repertoire.

> 24 hourI have used this product in various fragrances for several years. To me it seems better and better value than the Art of Shaving equivalent product i was using prior.

> 24 hourPROS: Foams up very quickly so it doesnt take 1+ mins to lather up like some other soaps. Cost efficient. CONS: Sometimes the lather will get sticky when on face. This can be fixed by using more water when lathering. NEUTRAL: The peppermint smell is not subtle, its sweet like candy, so expect that. 4/5

> 24 hourThis is the 5th TOBS that I have tried. The smell is very minty and leaves a nice tingle on my face. Perfect for those that shave in the morning, it helps open my eyes in the shower. The cream lathers quick and a little bit of product goes a long way. I have been pairing the cream with a feather as-d2 razor. I would use this cream again, although I am sure I will try another scent before I finish this one.

> 24 hourI have used this three times so far it is very comparable to tobs almond as far as performance. It does have a very strong peppermint smell I have read some reviews that say it smells like candy cane. To me it is reminiscent of that but not as sweet of a smell. The best part of the peppermint is the feel to me its almost like using a menthol shave cream and its very refreshing when your done and splash your face with cool water. This will be in my regular rotation for sure and as always with tobs a little goes along way. I use this with a double edge razor and good badger brush I also face lather no bowl and have no issues with lather. It does have a slight tingle to it similar to menthol so I am not sure how people with sensitive skin will react to it. I do not have sensitive skin and have had no issues.

> 24 hourI’m not sure why this is considered for sensitive skin but the shaving cream lathers well and has a great smell. The blade slides over it easily and leaves an excellent shave. I use feather blades with an aggressive Muhle razor. This is a great shaving cream. I’m not sure what the negative reviews were expecting but this is a great product.
