> 3 dayExactly why I ordered this shaving cream. The peppermint smell is absolutely amazing. I have been using The Art of Shaving shaving cream for several years and thought I would give Taylor of Old Bond Street a try. I had read a previous comment that stated the peppermint shaving cream was a bit more heavy. That comment is spot on. It takes a bit more water to get a good foaming going. As for a comparison between AOS and TOBS. The ingredients are almost identical. I do believe that the AOS is smoother and goes on my face with a brush better than the TOBS. However, I take into account the comment from a previous person mentioned above. With that said, it really boils down to cost. And I have to say I am tired of paying AOS prices. And again, the peppermint scent is a big, big win! I would very much like to try other scents by TOBS but I don’t think it could get any better than the peppermint. So, I am officially changing from AOS to TOBS.

> 3 dayI very rarely write reviews for items I purchase on Amazon however I am so satisfied with This saving cream that I had too write a review. This shaving cream lathers vey quickly and with very little cream. The peppermint cream allows for a smooth shave and leaves the face feeling refreshed. I would highly recommend this product and I know I will purchase again myself!

> 3 dayThis product does leave you with a slight cool sensation and smells minty nice (not over powering) I find it works great with my series 7 Braun on electric wet shave and/or with a razor (I use an old fashion safety blade). Sometimes I use both, electric first and touch up with a razor in some spots electric just doesnt hit well for some reason (minor spots on neck). It just feels good that way for me as I feel like Im getting a cool face massage with the electric razor. Sometime I just use a razor. Either way the product (any scent) is outstanding. All of the shave creams by Taylor I have found to be outstanding. I just prefer this scent and the cool feeling after. I rub on with my fingers to apply to wet face when doing an electric wet shave and use a brush when I just use a razor as I find this gives the right lather style for each. With the amount needed for a shave (dime size) one of these tubs usually lasts me a couple months or more. Sometimes I dont shave on weekends. I will buy again, over and over. I rarely write reviews but this one is deserving.

> 3 dayHaving recently got into traditional shaving (single blade razor, soap brush, alum bar, etc) this shaving cream is working really well for me. Definitely love the peppermint aroma and the way it makes my face feel. Its pricey as shaving cream goes but its worth it. It doesnt take very much on the brush/hand to get a rich lather going. Honestly I was a little skeptical of the old-school shaving stuff but it really had made a huge difference in the way my beard grows and the overall feeling of my face post-shaving.

> 3 dayThis is my first outing with this brand and Im very pleased. Great scent and a just a little tingly on the skin, I assume due to the peppermint oil. Although, just enough to be a pleasant sensation. I cant imagine it would even bother those with sensitive skin. Id definitely purchase this again.

> 3 dayAfter trying this, I personally think that it is a little over rated and a little over priced. I will not purchase this again, though I do not regret buying it and may consider trying some of the other products in their lineup. Also, this is a cream, and I am more of a soap person come to find out. The Good: First of all, this stuff absorbs A TON of water, which means a small dab will make A LOT of lather. I love the smell of peppermint, and the scent is good on this product. The lather that it does make is very thick and provides cushion. The Bad: Though peppermint smells great, I found it to be a little irritating on my skin. If you have sensative skin, you may want to stay away. I can not seem to get the lather slick enough for my taste. So between that and the peppermint oil causing some irritation I can easily get razor burn while using this product that I do not experience with other soaps and creams. Now since I like shaving soaps better I did try to mix some of this cream with one of my cheaper no frills soaps that I have. And WOW, that is now the way I use this stuff. I lather up my brush with the soap, then I put a dab of this on there. This makes what I call an Ultra lather, and thus ends up both thick and full like the cream aspect, but also makes it slick like a soap. With that combination I get no razor burn and the peppermint oil is not irritating my skin. This makes it useable so it wont go to waste. However, for the price there are some really nice soaps out there that do not require mixing in another product to make it the way I like it. As with any kind of soap / cream shaving supply, the usage and review takes into account my preferences and experiences with the product. I know that hardness of water will effect which types of soaps and creams you will like. SO as they say, your mileage may vary.
