> 3 dayI wasnt looking to spend a lot of money on a laptop i was just going to surf the web with , I probably could have gotten by with the 8 gigs of memory that it came with. knowing windows and how it can eat up memory. i went ahead and did the upgrade to the 2x8 gig memory kit. I wasnt expecting to notice any real increase in performance just farting around on facebook .. im sure it will come in handy using bigger files and video editing programs. Hopefully I will never have to pop the hood on this thing again....

Greater than one weekI ordered these SO-DIMMs for my Mac mini (2018) —base model A1993 EMC3213, ID MacMini 8,1 with intel core i3 3.6mhz, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD. I made sure that the memory modules I searched for were PC4-21300 at 2666mhz because I had read that the DDR4 transfer rate was necessary for the mac mini. I also only wanted 16 gigabytes, but came across Teamgroups memory modules which are much less expensive than Crucial or any comparable memory I could find— and ended up ordering the 32GB (2x16GB) modules instead! I installed the ram and it has been running great for 2 months now, and no problems so far. The company seems legit —it is based in Taiwan—and their product has been great so far: also made in Taiwan with Micron chips, and they have a limited lifetime warranty on their memory modules. I am very pleased with this and will look out for their product line in the future when upgrading.
