Why brass? These brass bristles are fairy soft and can clean up delicate battery terminals on vintage equipment. Brass is less likely to tear into plastic when you slip. I really like that this came in a bag of ten. You can go through these fast.

They do what they should. Wear glasses when use because the wires do tend to shed under use.

These brushes do what they are supposed to do as NYLON brushes which is to be used on softer materials. They perform extremely well when used with common sense and do the job they were made to do extremely well. AND: they are a tremendous bargain. Thanks Golden Coulee and Amazon for a great deal!

Absolutely WORTHLESS. I purchased these to help clean stained bathroom tile grout with my Dremel. The one I was using started to disintegrate after about 1 minute of use, even though I was only applying very light pressure. Bristles flew everywhere and were difficult to clean up. Save your money and your time! Dont buy these! I ended up scrubbing the grout with a hand held nylon bristle brush. I would zero stars if that was an option.

When used at high RPM (20,000-35,000) the brushes dont stay in a cone shape and instead become a flat wheel and metal shards fly off quite rapidly. When used at lower speeds (5,000-15,000) they do hold the cone shape but metal still flies off and they really dont do much at those speeds. The Dremel version of this brush is more expensive but holds its shape and doesnt have metal flying off, these are much less expensive but are dangerous and dont get the job done. I wont buy these again.

Very nice manufacturing on these, Ive seen others that were very rough.

They work great for a short time and then the bristles fly off. Use eye protection and everyone in the room must wear eye protection. No pets in the same room for this reason. They are affordable but cheap quality. You get so many because you will need them. That said; until they disintegrate they will do a very good job. Cost effective because there enough to do the job of 2-3 Dremel brass brushes which costs more but you will have to replace these several times for one dremel brush. I will buy them again but I wish the quality was better so they would be more durable. The problem is how they are clamped together too loosely. The bristles dont break off, they are flung loose under rotation.

These are not worth it. Buy the Dremel brand in bulk; they offer better value. These are really limp, I went through a pack of them in no time, even being gentle, running half speed as recommended. The real Dremel brand ones did better, enough so to justify their increased cost, but I hope you dont need many of these little brushes like I did, as they will bankrupt you. Good luck!

If you used this at about 2k rpm maybe it would work but my dremel starts at 5k. Bristle pull out easy. Uneven. Just not practical for use. 5 bucks at Walmart gets you only one brush at Walmart but lasts way longer

Keep RPM low and use a light touch. Let the wheel do the work.
