> 3 dayThese do not last but a few seconds if you use it for grout BUT when youre using it with the cleaner (and goggles with pants and long sleeve shirt) it lasts longer. You have to be gentle with it and it works fine but its nothing compared to what Dremel brush does.

> 3 dayWhat i liked about it. Worked great with my Dremel. Started wood burning project and the brushes are great for getting into the small areas and cleaning them out.

> 3 dayNot nearly as durable at the Dremel product. I would say that you would use 5 of these for every 1 of the Dremel brand. Packaging was neat, they look good, just not durable.

18-11-2024I bought these wire brushes to remove paint from window hardware using my Dremel. They didnt take the paint down to bare metal, and they wore out quickly. I thought I could use them in place of heating and scraping, but the paint was not coming off. At first I thought the brush was working because I could feel the chips flying and hitting my arms and face. But it turned out it wasnt paint chips flying off, it was the wire brushes coming out of the cup. I was using the Dremel at the lowest speed - I guess I was pressing too hard. I went through three of them in a matter of a few minutes. Im giving this a 3 star rating because perhaps this wasnt the right application for this product. When I realized it wasnt working, I used the heat gun and scraper on a couple hardware pieces, and then used the wire brush to clean the metal and take off some tiny leftover pieces of paint. It worked for that, but for what I really wanted it to do - these didnt work.

> 3 dayShoots little wires everywhere. Life expectancy is about a minute per wheel. Used all ten down to the nub and didnt even make a dent in my project. Safety glasses are a must and cleaning up a billion little wire arrows took forever. The hundred or so that stuck in my shirt and hair were an added bonus.

Greater than one weekI used them on cleaning up the magnesium valve covers and they work fine. I used dremel first, but that overheats quickly, so, I use them with the RotoZip. They work, do not fray excessively (I only run them at 10000 rpm), maybe not as good as Dremel brand, definitely not as precise, but for the price, I think they give better value.

> 3 dayI go through bags of these as I use the soft (but slightly stiff) nylon bristles to gently scrub dirt from rock and fossil specimens. Using a rotary tool makes quick work of the task and gets into tiny spaces better than I could do with a toothbrush, etc. I only wish they were sold in slightly higher quantities (say, 25 per bag) as I go through them quite quickly. I think the useful life of the brush is reasonable, though I wish they would last about 10 to 15% longer (wear life is impacted by the abrasiveness of the material, with certain limestone and sandstone wearing them down more quickly than some of the harder materials). Vendor delivery time has always been good and I dont believe Ive ever received any that were damaged or defective.
