At the time I purchased these brushes they cost $7.99 for a ten pack, thus, they obviously only cost about 79 cents each. Given their low price I would rate them 4 stars. You can only expect to achieve about 5-10 minutes of run time from them during mild to moderate buffing, and considerably less when exerting heavier pressure. From my experience, the brass is soft enough to brush most metals without scratching, and they seem to be ideal for removing rust from small tools, etc. They certainly are not the equivalent of high-quality brass brushes costing considerably more, but then again, they are only 79 cents. I strongly suggest wearing eye protection when using these (as you should with any power tool) because the little bristles WILL fly out and hit you. Thats the only reason I knocked off one star. Other than that, from a cost to performance comparison, theyre worth purchasing.

They work well for my Dremel tool.

Great for detail cleaning with Dremel tool. Just wear safety glasses and long sleeve shirts.....these puppies shed their bristles at high speed, and dont last very long! Also at Dremel speeds they will NOT maintain the cup shape but immediately splay out like a wire wheel.

These are excellent at taking off rust from calipers without harming the underlying metal, which is what I used them for. It’s imperative that you DO NOT run them at an RPM higher than 18,000 on your Dremel. I ran them at 15,000 and I only used up one of for all four calipers before the bristles were worn to nothing.

They worked good for me cleaning the inside of my outdrive on my boat. Even at the recommended speed I went threw them quickly

Quite effective. You learn quickly that the finish is not quite that created with the Dremel brush, but it is definitely adequate for the majority of my work. I am pleased and will be ordering again

These brushes do what they are supposed to do as NYLON brushes which is to be used on softer materials. They perform extremely well when used with common sense and do the job they were made to do extremely well. AND: they are a tremendous bargain. Thanks Golden Coulee and Amazon for a great deal!

They work fine but shed needles everywhere. Make sure you use them in a controlled place or you and your family and dogs will be stepping on these needles and getting them jammed in your skin.

The rating would be 5 stars if the wire wasnt so prone to being shed at high RPMs during use on any flat, hard surfaces

Not very tough. Wear out quick.
