> 3 dayI have disc issues and a shoulder that I had a surgery on. I am away from home for several months while my husband has a bone marrow transplant to fight leukemia. So, I have a lot of stress and anxiety in my life right now & it felt like I had tons of knots in my neck, and shoulders & I couldnt get relief no matter what I did. I have a tens unit at home, but I had forgot to pack it. So, I order this one & it arrived very fast and was very easy to use and it did the trick. It saved me from being miserable for the rest of our stay. I would recommend this to anyone needing relief from this kind of pain.

> 3 dayRecommended to me by my Kaiser nurse. I looked up the video for directions on how to use it. It’s easy, pain free, 30 minute session. Was told it is safe to use every day. I use it every 3-4 days and it seems to help. I do have neuropathy in my toes so it may be making it worse. I’m not exactly sure if it is the cause of worsening neuropathy or not just yet. Used 6 weeks so far.

12-04-2025I normally do not write reviews on the products I buy but I felt this was one that people like myself needs help when buying. Please read entire review! The reason i got one was because my physical therapist told me I should get one for home use. They use them on me as part of my PT. There was 2 unit that was recommended to me from a completely different website which I did go to. Both units were the Tens name brand the 2000 model which is analog model exactly same as the digital 7000 model just analog is the only difference she said along with price. I choose to go with the 7000 but before buying I wanted to check with Amazon to see if they had it and to my amazing surprise they did have the Tens 7000 unit and ao so many more they had so many to choose from that I hesitate in buying, i actually had about 3 picked out i googled top and best rated units ofcourse each website has different view points as to which unit is best and why. Some are just tens units and some are TENS and EMS units so I thought well maybe i should get one of those its close to same price, and some of those say they have massage like levels that would be cool, so i held off until my next PT appointment and I asked ok out of these which should i get and they looks and said honestly I understand why you were put back with all the different units and reasins but still their is no way these pads could ever come close to giving you close to a massage like feel, just not possible while it might feel good its not gonna feel like the massage types they are saying, second the TENS 7000 we know for fact is medically proven and tested and has been approved for medical grade use for even us to be able to use in our patient which is why it was recommended the first time, I think i would still stick with that, but its your money by all means get the one you feel the most comfortable about getting. So I by all means followed my PT adviced and ordered the TENS7000 from Amazon as soon as I got back out to my car, my biggest hold up on that unit was that I did see that you could use any of the electrode pads larger than 2 x2 with that unit, but you can, as long as as it the same connection type matter fact my PT gave me a pack to tryof 2 x 4, and they work, using them as i write this review, and i also ordered some through Amazon, i just typed in Tens Electrodes 2x4 pads and they came right up right connections and all.. these pads are great size for back, if you have wide spread back paid, box in the area that hurts. Such as most your back, so place 2 pads at the 2 top corners and again 2 bottom corners and it will cover the entire area inbetween per my PT and guess what it works, everything inbetween gets worked.. another concern was it only taking a 9 volt battery was it gonna be string enough, wow was I shocked... I couldnt handle over a 3 and it goes all the way up to 8, so I would say YES it has more than plenty of power to handle your pain level. Cause i have some serious pain with a compressed fracture from a auto accident, plus I had back pain before that. So dont over look the power this unit has thinking you can find better. I couldnt tell you if you can find better, but i do know there is no need is speeding more more money on other costly units when this unit had a might punch to put out. You will not be disappointed. It is lightweight, compact, smaller than my cell phone to carry for easy on the go use. The only down size is the battery isnt rechargeable but that is a very easy fix but getting a rechargeable battery system thats good to use with any product you have that takes a 9 volt not just this device.. thanks for reading my review, this is the 2st one I bv have EVER written, you cant go wrong with this unit..

> 3 dayI highly recommend this TENS unit. My physical therapist uses this one and I figured her endorsement was a good enough reason to try it. After two months of regular use, Im not disappointed. Best one Ive tried. The last one I tried before this had a large display screen that cracked horribly the first time I dropped it, which meant I could no longer use many of the settings because I couldnt see them. Plus the electrodes would work intermittently even though it was brand new. On the other hand, Ive dropped my TENS 7000 unit *numerous* times on my hardwood floors due to clumsiness and weak hands from RA, and it still works perfectly. It doesnt have a big display screen, so theres not much that could crack. And the electrodes have worked reliably since day one. Another factor to consider is that on a lot of other units (including the last one I tried) you can accidentally bump the intensity dial or other settings, but on the TENS 7000 all the controls have covers over them so you dont surprise yourself by bumping the intensity up to some insane level and then panicking and scrambling to turn it down or off. The TENS 7000 has numerous signal pattern options for variety so your nerves dont adapt to a single monotonous pattern, and can be set to run for up to an hour at a time. It also has two different channels so you can use four electrodes at once if you want. It takes a 9V battery. When I use it ALL DAY, a battery will typically last me about 3-4 days, and thats actually a LOT of hours when you think about it. Most users dont run them for hours at a time. Tip: Its helpful to wipe the electrodes down with rubbing alcohol after every couple uses or so to remove any oils that can build up, which maintains signal clarity. For anyone who hasnt tried a TENS unit, they really do help with a lot of different types/sources of pain. They work by delivering electrical impulses which disrupt the pain signals being transmitted through nerves, including the sciatic nerve. Ive heard feedback from folks with various conditions that cause nerve pain who say they also get some relief from TENS units. Doesnt hurt to try. Besides interrupting nerve pain signals, Ive also found that the impulses can often get my spasming muscles to at least partially relax. When Im focused on the pain in my low back, Ill put an electrode on either side of my spine around L5. When sciatic pain (which I get on my right side) is bad, Ill put one electrode on the right side of my spine around L5-S1, and Ill put the other electrode further down the path of the sciatic nerve on my bum, wherever the pain is strongest in that area. That placement effectively interrupts/dulls the signal for me so that it lessens the intensity of the pain. Often it interrupts the pain signal enough that it only radiates partway down my leg, and on a good day it sometimes stops it from radiating much at all. Left uncontrolled, that pain can bring me to my knees in tears (not exaggerating), so anything that brings it into a tolerable range is hugely successful in my opinion. For me its helpful about 95% of the time. There are some days where I wear it from the time I get up to the time I go to bed, or sometimes even when I go to bed if the pain wont let up when I lay down. And Ill wear it when I run errands, or just any time Im doing anything that involves sitting, standing, or moving around. It latches onto to my pocket fairly securely with the built-in clip. I change the impulse pattern every hour when I restart it so my nerves dont adapt and become desensitized to the signal. One pair of electrodes will usually last through quite a few uses, and you can buy replacement electrodes in bulk on Amazon for a reasonable price. I paid $25 for a 48-pack (24 pairs) and I typically go through a couple pairs per week.

Greater than one weekTens units are amazing for pain management and physical rehabilitation. Once you figure out the best settings for your particular situation, they are quite effective aid in treatment plans. However, one big drawback using these are the pads can loose adhesion very quickly - for me after about 5 applications... maybe because I have naturally oily skin and very hairy legs. I wish these had the replaceable pads, but they dont. Next time, I think I will opt for ones that have this option - as using a wrap or tape to keep them in place is very inconvenient.

> 3 dayLasted 13 months and stopped working.VERY disappointed After I wrote the above review, I need to change my previous review to 5 star. I contacted the company Tens Pro and explained the problem I was experiencing. The representative told me that the user manual that came with the unit suggested that the wires for the unit should be replaced after 6 months. Well, I have had the tens unit for 13 months, I have no idea where the manual is. But. I have to admit, it was my error. I have ordered new wires and felt it only right that I make this comment and change my review.
