My daughter needs a TI-84 (or equivalent) calculator for high school. The choice was between the CE and base 84+. We chose the CE with its rechargeable battery, much lighter weight and about half as thick. She chose the rose gold color, which looks nice. Otherwise I really don’t know much about functionality as I’m not the one using it and it wasn’t available 35 years ago when I was in school. Her teacher warned that sometimes students forget to charge them because the battery lasts so long. However, if she carries her cable she can use her Chromebook to charge it, plus the school has calculators in classrooms. We bought one for my son 4 years ago and it worked great for a year until he left it somewhere (he thinks he left it in the classroom) and never saw it again. We replaced it with the base model, which isn’t nearly as nice as the CE. Given the choice I would always choose the CE.

Very good calculator and easy to use. Great for math and just messing around. Every student should get to use one once in their life.

I use this every day at work, love the rechargeable feature so you’re not constantly going through AAA batteries like in the old days. Love the color screen too. 10/10 would recommend

Super great calculator with tons of functions on it. It can graph and calculate all the problems in higher math levels. Even has a sheet with all the ways you can work this calculator which is amazing.

Good calculator that is preconfigured with many useful functions. Instructors know this and wont make it known, so reading the manual is recommended. Be sure to charge.

It works just like all TI calculators, only prettier. I think this is the highest tech calculator that’s accepted for pretty much all testing. The color screen is a nice update since my last TI calculator and I love the minty aqua color.

I bought this calculator for my statistics classes and it’s very easy to use with apps and programs it’s a great choice

i love this calculator! i needed to buy one for my math class and this was perfect.

I teach 1:1 math online, and having a graphing calculator with a light up screen has really helped my students see what Im trying to show them when I hold my calculator up, as opposed to my old TI-84 Plus, Silver Edition. The button layout is identical, so Im familiar with everything. I got the rose gold one, and its so pretty! It makes me happy every time I use it. ☺️
