I am writing this review for those of you interested in the 5.1 mix off here.

GREAT CD

Really enjoyed this and especially the Esher Demos. The book and overall package is sublime quality. Even the individual CD sleeves are embossed! The album itself sounds better than ever with ALL track now enjoyable (I tended to skip some in the past).

First off this set is the best set of all time. Its beautiful to listen to (I already have 3 versions of The White Album on CD) and the set is designed beautifully. 4 CDs of extra material has a lot of interesting stuff to get into and explore how the White Album was actually put together, a huge plus for me. If i had Id buy it all over again. I have a thing for box sets so I have a lot of them, This is the crown jewel. Now for the but, where is the original mono mix?

So funny that my teenager is suddenly obsessed with records! This album has great sound quality. Been fun listening to the Beatles an vinyl again.
