14-04-2025I dont like using the word Fake in reference to this import. Its release was indigenous to the region for consumers in that particular area. I listened and compared the cd to other White Album cds I have. I have no complaint on the quality. Its the packaging that really hits the mark no matter how you feel about the quality of recordings. I must agree with the others. THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN PACKAGED ALL ALONG. I feel slighted by the releases that are issued here. Even a top quality release here cant hold up to the imported packaging.

> 3 dayThe 5.1 mix is faithful to the spirit of the compositions. Sounds much better than the copy I wore out when it first came out -- but then the group is unique is sounding good at virtually any fidelity or volume.

Greater than one weekOne of the epic works by the mighty Beatles! The White album in all its glory, featuring the new remix by Giles Martin, a 5.1 blue-ray disc to put you in the center of the studio, the famed demos, out-takes, alternate versions.... And a book, to boot. This is a cornucopia of good listening and fascinating reading. In short, fab.

> 3 dayThe vinyl pressing is defective and of a very poor quality. There are too many scuffs, scratches, clicks and pops! It’s really sad, when you consider there are pressing plants, in the world today, devoted to producing superior quality vinyl records. Clearly, EMI/Apple, for reasons unknown to me, have chosen a pressing plant with quality control issues. I am very disappointed with the overall quality of the vinyl. I can only hope EMI/Apple may produce a second run of pressings and team up with a pressing plant devoted to quality control. Maybe someone like R.T.I. or Mobile fidelity sound labs could take control of the pressings.
