> 24 hourI added magnets in the hands. Needs wires in the arms and legs to be able to sit anywhere and in multiple positions.

> 24 hourI finally gave into this after years of not wanting to do it. It was okay and the book was cute. My son is a red head so I wish there had been more choices to choose from rather than just brunettes with brown eyes.

> 24 hourSo this was my first year doing the elf on the shelf and I this elf seems to be popular, so I bought it. I ALWAYS read reviews and somehow I missed it but this one does NOT have wired arms and legs which really put a damper on things and his hands are stitched together. I ended up finding some floral wire in the basement and snipped his hands apart, tore the stitches out of the tips of the hands and the creases of the elbows and ran the wire up through his arms and sewed them shut again. Still didnt work great, the wire I had on hand was too thin. Oh well, we made due and my 5 yr old loved him.

> 24 hourThe book is excellent and the grandkids love reading it to me almost every night…the two year old loves the pictures. She seats on the chair and waits for her 5 year old brother to read it. We read a book every night, but they like the story being that it’s Christmas they read it every night…lol

> 24 hourThe book is cute and substantial enough and the elf is cute and easy to position. Our 4 year old enjoys spotting the elf in different locations each morning and the idea of an elf flying off at night to report to Santa and coming back before the kids awake each morning is very Christmasy lending a stronger Christmas feeling for kids in the days before Christmas. Packs a very large wallop of entertainment relative to the $ invested!
