Not suitable for pets not water resistant not good for outdoor use old ones actually work better,,,

This product works pretty well but only to a certain extent for us. Be forewarned that if you have more than one phone/tablet in the app, functionality is average at best. Ive had several occasions where I couldnt ring one of my phones or one of the Tiles. I eventually found that part of the problem was because the Tile app must be running in the background at all times for expected results. Bluetooth must also be enabled but Ive found a couple of times where even with bluetooth disabled, Tile locating was still possible but very intermittent. Though Tile locating was possible, locating your phone using a Tile didnt have the same intermittent functionality. You should always double-check your phone(s)/tablet(s) after a reboot or shutdown to make sure that the Tile app is running in the background and that bluetooth is enabled at all times.

Used two of the four tiles for car keys. One fine. The second one worked for a week then failed i.e. when placed next to my phone (6) the app, after hitting find responded out of range. Returned to Amazon for refund.

I got these Tiles for my dog and my keys. On several occasions I’ve testing tracking my dog via the app and it has said he’s out of range- when he was less than 50 feet directly in front of me. Several individuals around me have Tiles and the Tile app, so when my dog goes missing and he’s around one of them, it should notify me, but never does.

The Pros long distance is great for finding things. Only complaint is that they get scratched quickly and easily when you put them on your key chain. Suggestion would be to maybe find a different material to make the outside out of.

Well made and easy to use but for what it is your are paying a significant premium for insuring yourself against the expense of getting new keys cut...excellent product but significantly overpriced for what it is.
