Works really good in the laptop I bought it for. Seems faster then the original one did. Would recommend if a replacement is needed.

I used the 1tb drive for my steam & epic store games storage, it started acting up a couple weeks ago. I didnt know what was causing issues with my games a couple weeks prior to today and I assume the problems I had then culminated with todays events where games refused to get past the splash screen so I guess it had bad sectors? I tried to format the drive but windows kept giving me an error stating it couldnt format the drive, I shut down the laptop and made sure the sata cable was still secure and it was, but I pulled it out anyways and reinserted it again and turned it on. Before the ASUS splash screen popped up, it said S.M.A.R.T. Bad Drive, Backup, Replace but the drive is recognizable by windows and the folders are visible but I cant delete the folders and when I try to view properties or run check disk, windows explorer hangs and then locks up forcing me to forcibly shutdown the laptop and restart it. I even tried to go through the process of reinstalling Win11 and got to the screen where I could format drives, I tried to format the timetec and got the same issue I had when I was on the desktop. I bought this drive on Feb 16th, it lasted only 3.5 months, I guess you get what you pay for.

I have a 5 year old desktop that came with a 2 tb hard drive. Replacing the HDD with the SSD gave it a great speed boost! Startup times are way, way faster and so is over all performance. I used CrystalDiskMark to evaluate performance and it performed as marketed. Cloning was easy. I used my inateck hard drive USB enclosure to clone my hard drive. At 2 TB, it took over night. Once it was done and placed into my desktop, no problems booting or running. So far so good, speed is as advertised, its been problem free and the speed improvement has been great.

As a computer tech, Id been recommending SanDisk Ultra and Western Digital (WD) 3D NAND SSDs to my clients because, in my experience, they performed more consistently and had fewer issues than other brands. Ive used and recommended Timetec RAM for a long time. When I found that Timetec had their own line of SSDs, I gave them a try. Im a fan now! Less expensive, same performance, just as easy to install. Just wish they also came in 4TB size.

i have had it installed for awhile in one of my systems under moderate constant disk load. No issues so far.

For the money its a great investment loads games fast very fast

new gt7 with ps4 pro take life time loading... replace hdd to ssd for Only Gt7 work great. good price.

This ssd is lightweight and a good value for the price. Manufactured in the USA. Drive works well and has not given any issues
