> 3 dayThe Timetec 1tb M2 ssd is definitely great value for your money. If you don’t want to drop $100 on a name brand ssd and don’t necessarily care about a few milliseconds in difference of loading speed in your games or large files then definitely get this ssd. I will say the speed of this SSD is a little slow compared to others but it is really great for the price. Great starter ssd or even an additional ssd to add some storage for non-essential files

> 3 dayEver since I first used an NVMe drive (like 4 or 5 years ago) I could not imagine using a traditional or SSD hard drive again. My first one still works GREAT, and I got this for a build I put together for my son. First, cable management. Wait ... no cables with NVMe. Problem solved... Poor cable management can make your case look like a mess, but more importantly it can obstruct airflow and cause performance issues. Second, Installation. Just be sure to install on the motherboard before putting anything else on there. The screw is tiny, and once the hard drive is on its never in the way. If you have a compatible motherboard installation is easy. If not, there is a PCI-e adapter that can be purchased if you have a PCI-e slot available. Ive never used the adapter, but its still easier to install than dealing with cables. Third, PRICE. Some might say this should come first, but for me that all depends on quality. If I pay $25 bucks for something that breaks when I need it, I wasted my money. This was low cost with lots of good reviews. Ive been using it for several weeks, and is working like a champ, and I expect it to continue to work well for the next several years.

> 3 dayUpgrading and older iMac (2013) and adding this and a 1TB nvme to a not as old 2017 iMac. Once I got the iMacs open (Thanks for nothing Apple), installed and initialized in the iMacs, getting really close to advertised speeds, And so far no issues. Made a huge difference in both computers, way zippier, than before. That being said I dont blame with them, one is used for daily stuff, Office apps, web browsing, and other not too awful apps. The 2917 I use Photoshop, and other creative (video, audio, drawing and 3d) software. So I am slinging around some fairly large files as well as lots of small to medium ones. It does kinda big down after many moves and copy tos, BUT still way faster that the old mechanical hard drive. And I dont sling that many very often, so for most swell f the time I am very happy with the drive. The final word will be longevity/durability. As I make sure I have at least one back up, I am not screwed if one dies. Not happy, but not the end of the world. (No excuse for NOT having a back-up with the prices of ssd and hdds so cheap, or cloud backup. Just saying). So providing you have a decent back-up process, and regardless of what drive(s) you use, you should, this is an excellent buy.

Greater than one weekIve been using Timetec products for quite a while. They have always offered good deals on their hardware. I havent had any of them fail or DoA. The packaging is great, better than most budget hardware packaging that youll see in this price range.
