> 24 hourI would like to start with the fact that I absolutely loved this vacuum when I first set it up and used it. The suction and overall ease of use is great. BUT. The battery life is terrible and it only lasted a few minutes.. the first time using it. Backstory: After originally taking it out of the box and setting it up, I let it charge for about an hour or two before using it. I then took it off the dock to use it for the first time and it died after a few min. I thought, ok, maybe I didn’t let it charge long enough. I put it back on the charger to charge for another 4 hours, took it off to try using it again and had the same issue. I was frustrated but wanted to give it another chance, so I detached the battery from the vacuum entirely and put it on the extra battery charging dock, made sure the charging lights showed it was charging, and let it charge up overnight and throughout the next morning (easily over 12 hours of charging). When i went to use it again today, I made sure the dustbin and everything was empty and all parts were clean and ready to go. This only made a small difference, as the battery only lasted for about 15-20 min before dying again. I didn’t even get to finish just my downstairs floors on a full charge. They are also hardwood so it’s not having to used extra sucking power like it would on carpet. I have talked to Amazon once, and the manufacturer customer service twice. Amazon wants me to return the whole thing entirely instead of issuing me a new battery like I requested - which is just a huge hassle and inconvenience-, and the manufacturer is making it as difficult as possible to just get a replacement battery sent. Overall - this has not been the best purchase experience. I love how this vacuum works and want to give it the benefit of the doubt that maybe it’s just a faulty battery, but the process of trying to get it resolved/get a battery replacement almost makes it not worth it. The battery is supposed to last at least 40 min and it doesn’t even last half of that. I can say that I used it on auto-max which does drain the battery faster, but a 15-20 min battery life is not acceptable no matter the case, auto max or not. I could get away with not using auto max on hardwood, but you have to use it on carpet (which is what I have upstairs) and you can’t even finish all of your floors in that small amount of time. I’m hoping for good news and to see a difference with a new battery once I can finally get one.

> 24 hourI needed a cordless vac for the carpeted stairs in my 4 level condo as well as a mini vac for my car or small cleanups. I read tons of reviews and all seemed to have issues (too heavy or the on/off button had to be manually depressed at all times, for instance). What they all had in common was a short battery life (30 to 40 minutes), and attachments for mini vac needs, furniture, corners, etc. The newest Consumer Reports magazine had just come out and featured vacuum cleaners. The Tineco Pure One-S11 stick vacuum received its #1 rating, so I ordered one. First of all, it looks like something out of a Star Wars movie and is surprisingly light (I weigh under 100 pounds and have no trouble with it). It is also built to twist and turn, so very highly maneuverable when on stairs. It has a lock feature that enables you to leave it on without having to keep depressing the on switch. It also has a high suction feature that runs down the battery faster, but is a great option for deep cleans. It is cleverly put together so can be taken apart easily for clean up, though the instructions were a bit confusing to me initially and I had to rely on my intuitive sense (I am not a big techie - maybe not a problem for most people). Customer service is super nice and go out of their way to help and follow up, if needed. The unit looks big when mounted on the wall and charging, but the extra parts can be stored on the base unit (they click on and off to remove), so out of the way. The filter can be removed after each use and put in a little unit and the vacuum cleans it in seconds - so filter is very easy to clean. I have not purchased a 2nd battery yet, but probably will, along with a long, narrow wand that looks like it might go further into hard to reach places. The charging unit has a place on top that will charge another battery after the one in the unit is fully charged. I couldnt believe what it found on my stairs!! Really a deep clean that made me realize how inadequate my lugging around my corded vacuum was. I think the best feature is that when there is a small amount or light dust, the blue light on the top stays blue - when it encounters more dust/dirt, it turns red, meaning you need to stay on that spot for longer until it goes all blue again - extremely cool and very useful. The only downside is probably not limited to Tineco, but battery life is 30 to 40 minutes and it takes 2 to 3 hours to recharge, and while the clean up is made easier by the filter cleaner, you still need to wipe out the inside plastic components, of which some parts are not that easy to get to. But all in all, I love it and my stairs have never been cleaner! I plan on vacuuming furniture next (couches, etc).

> 24 hourSo much fun, my husband does all the vacuuming now and loves it. Best part is seeing how much dust and fur we pick up every day. Our house has never been cleaner.

> 24 hourI’ve owned them all—Shark, Dyson, and lesser quality brands. I was leery because of all the fake reviews on Amazon these days and all the weird brands. I took the time to write this review to help others—this is the best cordless vacuum cleaner I’ve ever owned. I have 3 dogs, including 2 retrievers. Heavy shedders to say the least. I’ve used this vacuum now for almost a year under heavy conditions and it works better than my floor vacuum. I use it in my truck, carpet, and hardwood floors. It works outstanding with them all. The battery lasts longer than my Dyson, and the suction is still going strong after almost a year now. When you open the box it tells you about downloading their app, no need to do that if you don’t want—I’ve never done it, and this is the best vacuum cleaner I’ve ever owned.

> 24 hourI wanted to wait a couple of weeks to give a more accurate review. I own the Tineco Floor vac/mop and I dont know how Id live without it! BUT, I didnt automatically buy their cordless vac; I researched and read hundreds of reviews on different models and brands before purchasing. The Pros: Its powerful! I have 3 teens, 2 shedding dogs, and a home office which means we dirty our floors a lot! The suction is fantastic! It cleans stairs, hardwoods, tile and carpet, no problem. Easy to empty. Great filters for smells. Gets under furniture. Really easy to use. It has a maximum power button but you dont need it often. The regular mode is powerful enough and it will run longer on one charge with regular mode. Great attachments! Best vac Ive used for cleaning my car. The cons: Doesnt stand up on its own. I think this is a major design flaw. A vacuum should stand up when its connected to the floor attachment! Also, Its heavy. I vacuumed 2000 sq ft. of different types of flooring to get a real feel for it. After 1500 it gets heavy. The Miele stick vac has a configuration option to lower the motor so the weight is near the floor. Its easier to push/pull weight than to hold it. To a small person like myself this makes a difference. Lastly; for some odd reason the handle gave me a small blister on the top of my thumb. I changed hands and it did the same on the other one. The square design of the handle area rubs the tops my thumbs. Bottom line: I would purchase it again. BUT, I wouldnt buy this as my only vacuum for more than 1500 sq feet. I have a Miele canister for the whole house. I use the Tineco for inbetween cleanings and spills. I also own the Miele Stick Vacuum for another location. This is better IMO. Hope this helps.

> 24 hourWe had cheap vacumes that did not seem to do the job. This one is a bit more expensive but not too expensive. I really did my homework and we are happy with this unit for pets. no tangling on roller and messages and filter cleaning capability. Very high tech and vacumes well up to baseboards real good.

> 24 hourSo far I like the vacuum… but it came used with hair and dirt in the dust bin and a little hair in the brush roller. I definitely did not appreciate that. I have never had a cordless vacuum before so I can’t accurately compare battery life but for me it feels like you have to go in with a game plan before so you don’t waste time and run out of battery. It’s a little awkward because the bottom of the vacuum is practically weightless and the handheld part is like holding a dumbbell. Sort of feels cheap but it does work well in my opinion. I do not regret purchasing so far and I think it has met all my needs so far. (This will not replace a normal vacuum FYI) I bought this for my entry area which is constantly sandy and gross from two dogs who swim all day, a toddler, and a dirty husband, complete with a dirt driveway and road!

> 24 hourI originally began looking for a vacuum to make cleaning my stairs easier. It’s always a hassle with the big corded vacuum. I am so glad that I found this stick vacuum. This is the first stick vacuum I’ve owned (besides the one I bought and returned the next day right before purchasing this one). The suction is great and it’s easy to maneuver. It works better than my corded vacuum and makes me want to vacuum more often. I love that it has a base to sit on and it doesn’t need to be installed on a wall. The battery does go down quickly, but it hasn’t been an issue for me since most of my lower level is uncarpeted. I do sometimes use it on the wood floors, but mainly use it for the carpet. I do wish the dustbin was a little larger though. My favorite feature is the iLoop smart sensor. I keep the setting on auto and it automatically adjusts suction power according to how dirty the area is. You can see when the area is clean with the lcd screen (changes from red to blue). I have a dog and it works great picking up pet hair. The first time I used it, it picked up hair that my corded pet vacuum wouldn’t pick up. So now I use my Tineco exclusively. I caught this on sale and am 100% happy with my purchase!
