> 3 dayThis product was simple to install with the top Greener app. Was very easy to link to Alexa afterwards with the related skill. It responds quickly to smart commands. I have it running a heater in my bedroom oh, and I was able to make it on an automated timer in case it ever got left on.

> 3 dayPlease be aware that in a power outage it will not turn back on by itself. To overcome this I set a turn on schedule in the app for every few hours on a fridge. It’s not like flipping a light switch, so it just insures it’s on. I’m no Fire Marshal, but I don’t know why they don’t point this out. Too bad it’s not an option in the app to have it turn itself on every few hours. I have these rectangle ones and the one that covers the other outlet and they all work fine with the app. BTW, set an off time for sprinklers and such and that’s your duration if you are in charge of these things around the house. Pretty cool and easy now to be able to monitor sprinklers (and anything else) from anywhere with just this one app if you toss your old timer and just use the sprinkler wall wart in this outlet wired directly to the valve (with an inline fuse!). You will need one sprinkler wall wart(<$20) and outlet for each zone.

> 3 dayThese devices are very convenient for short term checking of energy usage. I ran into the same issues as everyone else with the devices randomly rebooting into an OFF state, so do not depend on these unattended.

22-11-2024Got them working with my Android phone in less than five minutes. For each device you get to see milliamps, Power in watts, voltage and total kWh. By default the devices are switched off when the power is connected so a power outage will leave all of the devices off. Their technical support showed me how to set up an automation in the app so that if the device is switched off, the app turns it on. One other con: If you click on a device and select statistics, you only see the current month.

> 3 dayWorks well. Shows amp, watt, voltage, and total kw used. Subtract one star because it only works on 2.4 ghz network. Had to find my old router. Reset user name and password, set up 2.4 ghz access point. Hooked up to my current router. Then use a old phone connect to the 2.4 ghz network. Then it worked.

> 3 dayThese are really fantastic. I bought a bunch of these to turn on and off Christmas lights. No more plugging and unplugging all December. They are also great for our nightstands and avoid having to bend far out of bed to reach that dang cord mounted light switch. Bonus: it measures energy consumption. Sweet.

> 3 dayI might have too many things on my WiFi, but this worked fine for a few weeks, thenit just shut off and wouldnt come but on. I did the cave man shake, bump and multi button push and it came back on after being unplugged for 15 minutes. Working fine again. We will see.

> 3 daySet up: could not for the life of me get these set up with an Android device. Tried my phone and tablet, but while I could get them on the network with both, they just wouldnt detect beyond that. I had to borrow my daughters iPhone to get them into our account. That worked like a champ. Once paired, the Android devices work fine. Usage: Seems flawless. Easily paired with Alexa, can turn the plugs on and off with the app, or by calling out for Alexa to do it. power usage, what I bought this for primarily, is pretty cool Keeps track over time in a handy graph. Exactly what I needed.

Greater than one weekWorking all over the house with no booster in the router. worked on the fridge till I pushed it back against the wall. Fixed that by plugging it into a power strip on the side of the fridge. Freezer and torch on back porch no problem. Power usage very useful info. Probably need to replace the fridge. I have the app on my phone and tablet. the tablet seems more responsive than the phone when you touch an icon. I have 11 of these in use now. most of them the square ones. two fit in a wall socket. The 10 amp rating has been no issue even on the fridge or freezer.

> 3 dayI got these primarily because they were listed as being able to measure power consumption. This feature is getting harder and harder to find in smart plugs and many reviews for other products that are supposed to measure power usage report that the feature has been removed in newer models. I can verify that the power monitoring does work on these. I like to know how much power is being used (aka how much an appliance is costing me to run) and it also helped my identify a freezer that was going out. I noticed a big spike in the power utilization on the freezer and that the temps werent as low as normal. After ensuring that the thermostat wasnt covered in ice, the door was still sealing, etc, its my guess that the compressor was on its way out. Very happy to have caught it early rather than when I opened the door and had a freezer full of spoiled food.
