These metal pegboards worked well for my needs, I put them up in my office to store/organize some of my music gear. Install was pretty straightforward if you have the ability to use a level, drywall screws, and drill. I have attached a photo for reference, though mine is not quite complete yet, I plan to add another shelf at the top to store more gear like picks, tuners, fretboard cleaner/polish, etc. Works with standard size pegboard accessories, I prefer the metal pegboards since it comes ready to install without the need for furring strips. (In other words, it’s already an inch or so off the well so you can utilize the accessories right away), and of course the metal ones are more durable and more aesthetically pleasing. Comes with everything you need to install, except the necessary tools. Hope this helps!

This kit comes with three metal pegboard panels and mounting hardware. Each pegboard has a black painted finish that is scratch resistant and durable. The pegboards are available in black or white. The heavy duty metal will hold up to years of use, abuse and heavy loading. The pegboard hole pattern will fit any 1/4 and 1/8 hangers (not included). I mounted these on the wall next to my basement workbench and had no problem loading them up with tools. In fact, Ill likely get more pegboards to help organize the rest of my tools. Would recommend this to anyone.

We were looking for storage ideas for my wifes craft room, and came across these panels. She was wanting to redo her storage, and did not want to use a wood pegboard, so these fit the bill. They came in a box well protected, and there were no scratches, scrapes, or dings on any of the panels. They were easy to install, and they fit the peg bins, hooks, and shelves that my wife had purchased previously without an issue. The panels are strong, so there has been no issue of the panels bending or breaking, but my wife over filled one shelf that had plastic hooks, and the shelf broke, but did not harm the metal pegboard at all. These are great for the craft room, but after seeing them, I am thinking about ordering some for my garage, I just need to get rid of some stuff first to make room on a wall.

My current peg board setup is all particle board. I was skeptical if a metal version would be of any benefit. When it arrived, I could immediately tell from the weight - this was a well crafted item that will last for years. It was heavy! It has depth so it does not require any spacers like traditional particle board peg boards. Determine where you want it, level it, mark the holes, drill, add screws. I added it to a concrete wall so the drilling was a bit more involved - but still very easy. The size of the sections are just right as you are not going to easily re-cut these. Mix and match pieces to cover the intended area. Once installed, your only weak point will be the pegs, not the peg board. If the pegs are strong enough, you could put any tool on here. The peg board is not going to have any trouble with the weight.

These panels are super heavy-duty and strong, with wrap-around edges, perfect for our garage. They are easy to install and look great. I hang my drills and other heavier items and the metal doesnt bend or flex at all.

Only fits 1/8 inch pegs.

These are far superior to the wood pressboard type. I love that no spacers were needed. They just screw directly to your wall and at spaced perfectly due to the offset. They have a very clean look. Moisture won’t deteriorate or make them swell like traditional pegboard. The sizes are perfect for mounting horizontally or vertically so they are really adaptable to your space. Perfect for garages, laundry or hobby areas.

These are good sturdy metal pegboards and have a good quality feel to them, they are ideal for hanging heavy tools on, I love the black finish which I think looks really stylish, these boards are a big step up from the particle board style that you get from the home stores, they need a solid wall to attach to as they are much heavier than the particle board style. Overall I really like these peg boards they look great and make the work area look and feel professional.
