> 24 hourI didnt want to buy a toddler bed so transitioned our 2.5 year old from the crib to a standard height twin bed. I bought a pair of the longer rails to keep her from falling out. The rails were easily put together and installed. She has leaned on them to reach for books ect. and they held her weight well. They did become slightly loose from the bed from that but we can easily tighten them to fit more snug along the bed. Im really happy with the look of these and the ability to easily fold down if needed. Great buy.

> 24 hourWe needed something for our granddaughter, who is transitioning out of her crib. She stayed the night and we have a bunk bed that naturally has a guard rail on the top (not the bottom). The bottom bunk bed has a wooden frame about 3-4 inches high, that holds the mattress in place but offers the sleeper no protection. We needed a bed rail that would fit between the mattress and the wooden bed frame and this one fit perfectly.

> 24 hourI thought by your description that it extended to a king which I could of really used as I have a dog thats 15yrs old and sleeps in bed. His back legs dont work very well but he tries to crawl off end of bed. My bed is very high. I like that its durable but I wish it was a king

> 24 hourThis item is working out perfectly for us! The only thing I’d like to note is that when assembling it, the reference in step 1 to “fixed screws” is confusing. What they mean by that is “machine screws.” Insert those, tighten using the nuts provided, and you’re good to go!

> 24 hourWe are using it in our RV on the overhead bunk. It is used to keep supplies from crashing down if we stop fast. The drop down is easy to use and makes it convenient to put things up there and remove them.

> 24 hourIm sure this rail is more sturdy when used on a wooden frame or slats, but when you use the straps designed for the box spring, its just not sturdy enough. The straps themselves rely on the mattress on top of them to keep them in place and to keep the rail from coming loose. Will it keep my toddler from rolling onto the floor? Probably. But I can see him easily getting squished between the bed and the rail, the rail becoming extremely loose, or even eventually pulling off completely. This definitely needs some redesigning for box spring use.

> 24 hourI read the other customers complaints about their babies getting caught between the barrier and the mattress but thought that since Im getting it for my 5, 100lb 10yo with a seizure disorder there was no way she would fit in the crevice. WRONG! Multiple times Ive had to haul her up out of this bafflingly large valley between the mattress and this product. Were trying to rustle up enough towels to stuff in the crack, but sheesh!

> 24 hourLove this bed rail! We do not have box springs under our mattress and this worked perfectly for us. One of the more attractive bed rail options.

> 24 hourThe actual rail is great. It’s sturdy and looks nice. I didn’t give this a full five stars because of the directions. They didn’t correlate well to the pieces. I had to find a YouTube video on it, which was helpful and I finished putting it together using that.
