20-11-2024The product overall works and I’m happy with it but man it has the WORST directions ever. Terrible. Your better off putting it together blind

> 3 dayI am very happy with this product. I’m using it for my 2 yr old granddaughter when she visits. I feel confident that it will keep her safe from falling. I like the fold down feature as we also use this bed for diaper changes and changing clothes etc. it also has a simplistic look and blends in when not in use. I recommend this bedrail.

> 3 dayWe installed this bed rail for our grandson, on a slatted twin bunk bed. We used the Velcro to attach it to the slats. And the two straps to secure it between the mattress and metal bed frame. It is very secure. Love the fold down feature. Amazing! Easy to assemble. I watched the TotCraft video on YouTube. Highly recommend. Very pleased.

> 3 dayWe purchased this product the end of December 2022, it is broken beyond repair the end of April 2023 and the child doesnt often sleep in the bed :/ Thought this was a great solution, bummed its outside the return window, and finding the warranty info when clicking the link should not require contacting XYZBDF whoever or visiting sellers site. Im probably better of purchasing a giant stuffed animal for tumbles out of bed (sarcasm) this was pretty spendy though to be trash after maybe 20 uses :(

> 3 dayWe purchased for piece of mind with grandchildren and item is very sturdy. Once in place it can’t be removed. This is an issue if your use is for temporary stays.

> 3 dayThis bed guard was perfect for my grandson’s new bed he’s just turned 3 it’s up at night or when he naps and down during the day his bed does not have a bottom mattress yet we were able to still install it very easily this product is definitely worth the money for another child’s safety

Greater than one weekIt takes a few minutes to screw in all the screws and if you need to rebox it until you need it again, then it doesnt fold flat to stick in a closet. Its a big L shape with the straps flying around. You have to get out the screw driver and take it all apart again. But once youve got everything put together, it works well, gets out of your way easily, and looks good. It wont just fall out of the side of the bed. You must instruct friends who havent used one on how to fold it down. The locking mechanism is so well designed it isnt obvious to find, and its small. This makes it attractive, but unintuitive. You want that. You dont want your toddler (or your elder dementia patient) to figure it out!

18-11-2024The product itself is built beautifully and would have been very easy to install and use. However, with the limited measurements provided and the promise of “fitting any bed frame type”, this product does not deliver. My daughter has a recessed mattress within a bed frame with slats. It is a standard size from a major furniture retailer, professionally built. It is impossible to tell from the item description and measurements exactly how recessed the mattress could be before the product will not work, and unfortunately, my daughter’s bed is a bit too recessed. The hinge would have to sit shoved between the mattress and the outer bed frame, compressing the mattress between the rail guards, or otherwise the horizontal support beam would have to bend significantly upwards under the mattress to allow the hinge to sit above the bed frame. I’d recommend the company make it clear in the measurements how much distance there is between the hinge and the horizontal bottom beam for the purpose of a recessed bed. I’d also recommend not advertising the product as “fitting any bed frame type” as that is quite misleading.
