> 3 dayI’ve had Tote umbrellas for years, and this is the first one I’ve ever had trouble with. The auto open works fine, as does the auto close to release it, but getting the umbrella to actually click shut again after use so you can roll it up and Velcro it again can be quite a project. Sometimes it ‘catches’ with no problem, but more often than not it takes several tries to get it to actually click shut, which is painful for my hands. It’s only the last couple of weeks that I’ve had an opportunity to use it, and I’m now past the return window or I would send it back. I’m really very unhappy with this umbrella.

> 3 dayJust bought Wild Rose colored umbrella, which was described as large 43 canopy. But what I received is regular 35 canopy umbrella. So the description is incorrect.

Greater than one weekOverall, I really like this umbrella. It is nice and compact and the material definitely feels like it can last a long time. Im unsure of the whole Stands up to 70 mph winds this product advertises, but it really does work to keep the rain off of you and does apparently come with a lifetime warranty. The handle is also textured so that you can grip it easily.

> 3 dayI borrowed a friends one rainy evening and purchased one immediately for myself. Great quality and small size makes this a great option for a briefcase or backpack. Highly recommend for a quick go to.

Greater than one weekI’ve always trusted Totes but I must say that this umbrella was a disappointment. I find that I can quickly tell how well an umbrella is from how it opens up after you press the auto open/close button. As soon as it opened up I didn’t get that initial solid feedback that you get when everything expands. Now it could be the spring in the rod but I could tell that this one was weak. Although it was roomy and provided plenty of coverage from the rain it did not handle well during windy days. When the wind picked up, this umbrella felt weak and looked ready to turn inside out. It felt unstable and provided me no confidence against the rain. A little draft would shift the umbrella almost picking the umbrella out of my hands, meanwhile I look at the person next to me and they haven’t moved their umbrella. Needless to say, this umbrella is being used as a spare in the trunk of the car.

> 3 dayHave had Totes umbrellas forever. Love the model with the open and close feature. They can last a long time in normal rain use. If you forget it and leave it somewhere dont expect to find it as they are very desirable, finders will be keepers. Have bought replacements when lost. If they break you can send them to totes for repair or replacement. Also interesting fabric patterns. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI am pleasantly surprised. This is a very well made umbrella. I live in Seattle so I know about umbrellas. The metal work is better constructed than any other umbrella Ive ever used and it is still a fairly compact umbrella. I took this with me on a trip to England and it held up to winds and heavy rains without turning inside-out. Great price for an umbrella that will hold-up to high winds and heavy rains while still taking up not too much space in your bag.

> 3 dayGreat look. Very elegant and sturdy. The opening and closing feature is very fluid and controlled. I like that you get such great craftmanship and elegance in such a small package. I like it so much I bought an extra one to use at home while eat supper or when its raining so I dont have to make a mad dash for my car. Okay, okay, not while eating supper...but its a great product so no regrets here.
