> 3 dayCheaper little umbrellas can be found, but none this great! The easy push-to-open and push-to-close are convenient, the closure strap is WIDE and superior, and the included carry sleeve dresses it up nicely. Very compact, easy storage, and fulfillment was quick, too!

Greater than one weekThis is nice...but its a standard umbrella size. I need to find the next size up that folds like this, but not a Golf size.

> 3 dayI’ve always trusted Totes but I must say that this umbrella was a disappointment. I find that I can quickly tell how well an umbrella is from how it opens up after you press the auto open/close button. As soon as it opened up I didn’t get that initial solid feedback that you get when everything expands. Now it could be the spring in the rod but I could tell that this one was weak. Although it was roomy and provided plenty of coverage from the rain it did not handle well during windy days. When the wind picked up, this umbrella felt weak and looked ready to turn inside out. It felt unstable and provided me no confidence against the rain. A little draft would shift the umbrella almost picking the umbrella out of my hands, meanwhile I look at the person next to me and they haven’t moved their umbrella. Needless to say, this umbrella is being used as a spare in the trunk of the car.

> 3 dayEasy to carry. Easy to open. Semi-closes with the touch of a button, but must be fully manually closed before it can be re-opened. Small.

> 3 dayI am pleasantly surprised. This is a very well made umbrella. I live in Seattle so I know about umbrellas. The metal work is better constructed than any other umbrella Ive ever used and it is still a fairly compact umbrella. I took this with me on a trip to England and it held up to winds and heavy rains without turning inside-out. Great price for an umbrella that will hold-up to high winds and heavy rains while still taking up not too much space in your bag.

> 3 dayIts great and sturdy, water doesnt stay on it for too long. I dont like that Im not able to retract it by a push of a button after closing tho but it can work with.

20-11-2024Ive always trusted Totes but i took this umbrella out of my closet this week and the rubber handle had gotten so sticky that i can no longer use. Not sure what happened (and no, nothing dripped on it in the closet to make it sticky). And of course, outside the return window. Not happy! Buyer beware.

> 3 dayI ordered the black Totes auto open close umbrella from Amazon (not third party seller) and it works very well. The metal ribs are more sturdy than a normal umbrella but the joints broke on mine after a few months of occasional use and the auto open and close feature is very convenient. The umbrella easily fits into my laptop bag but it is a little heavier than a standard umbrella. The umbrella is covered by a Totes warranty but I have to pay the cost to ship the umbrella to Totes. As I write this review, it costs $7.35 for a flat rate envelope from the USPS so that would be an ok option.

> 3 dayThe handle is very reflective, distractingly so. Seems like it would scuff and scratch easily when it hits things, but havent had that problem yet. Otherwise, its a great, durable umbrella. Especially for this price. Seems like it will last a long time.
