> 24 hourWas satisfied with product until it stopped working after two months. I called customer service and was told I could not return it to Amazon (outside return window), but the dimmer had a one year warranty and Treatlife would contact me about getting a replacement. I never heard from them again. Very disappointed. Treatlife contacted me and sent a replacement. Works fine.

> 24 hourI havent used all the features just the manual buttons. My biggest concern is whether the LEDs flicker and they dont seem to. Seems to work fine.

> 24 hourI have two of these devices: one in a covered porch which is still working great and the other outside on a deck exposed to rain. The one outside didnt survive the first heavy rain storm. It shorted out and will not power on at all. Well past the 30 day return window with no warranty because we purchased early for use in a construction project that went long; however, the company was very responsive, troubleshot several possibilities and then replaced the out of warranty product! Extremely impressed at how they handled this and stood behind their product so Ive updated my review. Would highly recommend.

> 24 hourI have now purchased two of these since I liked the first one. I use them to control outside café lights from my phone and using voice with Google Home. Having the dimming option is great (I typically keep the café lights at only 10% as theyre around a fire pit and I like to enjoy the fire light). Update: I recently had one of the dimmers fail but when I reached out to customer support they promptly replaced it for me. Very happy all around with this product/company.

> 24 hourI bought this dimmer 2+ years ago. I moved houses and changed routers, and I think I messed with it so much it got stuck thinking it was connected to a wrong WiFi address and had some trouble resetting it. After contacting customer support, they went out of there way to give me great directions, and after finding out something went wrong with the product, they stood by their product and helped me get a working one. They truly cared about me and my experience, the app works flawlessly to control everything, and instantly connected during setup. It does exactly what you think - provides a good app to smart control multiple strings of LED lights by turning them on, off, and with dimming levels.

> 24 hourThis is my third one and it broke in 47 days. The first one lasted maybe 6 months, and the second one just about a year. Can anyone recommend a good one?

> 24 hourThis is second one I bought. First is 3 or 4 years old and dimmable with incandescent lights and I think with some led, but not ones I bought. Works great with Alexa To turn on/off or if you set up a routine. . Makes Christmas decorating easy too.

> 24 hourOkay, here is the deal. I purchased and was expecting a seamless Alexa integration, like my other 3rd party plugs. That was not the case. The directions suck, pure and simple. When you contact Treat Life Customer Service, there is a communication and time zone issue, where as I suspect is in a country that is far away from the USA. Takes days for a response and their response needs interpretation and breakdown. Treat Life or Smart Life, pick on and stick with it. I recommend Smart Life. We got both the Treat Life and Smart Life apps to work with minimal difficulty; the problem came when we tried to connect it to Alexa. After weeks of trying everything, calling Amazon, contacting Treat Life numerous (way too many) times, we gave up. I initiated a return and wrote a scathing review. We loved the dimmer plug and ability to dim our string lights, so we decided to give it one last try. I called Amazon again. The Amazon Tech (Aaron was awesome, by the way) was determined to find out why the Treat Life Dimmer Plug wouldnt connect to Alexa. After close to an hour of a determined Tech - problem was resolved and we now LOVE our Treat Life Dimmer Plug; the Treat Life company, not so much. Here is what happened and I want to point out, this has never happened with any of our other 3rd party plugs. The Echos were purchased under my husbands Amazon account. I have a joint account. I was trying to activate the skill via my Amazon Alexa app. Once I activated the skill via my husbands Amazon Alexa app - it worked. We are now happy. I cancelled the return and deleted the original review. Exterior Dimmer Plug is great and we recommend the product.

> 24 hourSo good that I ordered a second for another set of lights, and may order a third! For those of you wondering, this does have a physical switch / dimmer you can use without your phone. Theres a single button that you tap to turn the lights on and off, or hold down to dim/brighten (it starts going one direction until it maxes out then goes the other direction). Wifi setup was very simple, and, while I havent looked into the fancier settings yet, the basic controls on the app more than meet my needs of manual on/off and a brightness slider. Ive made use of the timer feature as well to make sure we dont forget to turn the lights off after a night of partying. The construction seems solid and pretty rugged. I expect it will last a long time, even outside. I also like that it provides a slot to hook onto a screw or nail for easy wall mounting. My one suggested update is to have a longer power cord. Unless you have an outlet within about a foot of where you want this switch to be, youll need an extension. In my particular scenario, we had to run an extension along the side of the house. That extension goes to a triple outlet staked into the ground because I need at least 2 switches at this location and want to keep the connections off the ground to avoid potential issues with puddles. However, if I connect this switch directly to that staked outlet it will only be about 1.5 feet off the ground, which is pretty inconvenient for using the physical button. This means that I need to either live with that; buy and install another 3-6 ft outdoor extension, causing a setup of extension -> landscape outlet -> extension -> switch -> extension -> lights; mount the switch and leave the outlet hanging (ghetto and probably not 100% weather safe); or, hopefully, find a different cheap outdoor splitter that can be mounted to the wall right beneath the switch. I feel like the power cord should be 3-4 ft, which is long enough to go from the floor, where most extension cords reside, to a normal & convenient height to use the button.
