i was using a variety of wallets for my crypto and was even keeping some on exchanges. Bad idea. I thought this seemed expensive, but several people i know from the slack im in told me very nicely that i was being stupid, and I needed a hardware wallet, and they said Trezor was the best. Now that I have one and use it every day, I agree. It interfaces with Mycryptowallet too if you are into erc20 tokens. So much faster and safer than anything else I tried, and I have e mailed customer support twice when I first got it and they were very fast in responding,. Also very patient with answering the questions I had. Great product, great support.

They dont have an up to date code signing certificate for their software. As a security company, this is extremely sloppy. Also, it is clunky in the browser sometimes. But I must say, once you get it working, it works AWESOME!!!!! This is a 10 star item, but you must fight with it to get it all working. Ignore the certificate when first setting it up as well Again, very amateur that they cant even afford to get either a non-expired code signing certificate, or at least WARN you when you download it, that it will be expired and to ignore it. I thought initially that they had been hacked and were giving out bad software.

Exactly what I was expecting but now I think I should have just forked out the extra money and got the updated model for the simple fact you can hodl more types of alt coins. If you need a hardware wallet for long term hodl of btc, eth, and doge this is an acceptable wallet at a decent price.

INSANELY fast shipping. I want to take a star off for not supporting ripple, but I wont. The smaller number of coins this supports and the higher price are the only reasons to turn and buy a ledger nano s. I heard there is a newer 2 version of this coming out sometime, but I will keep this one because I dont want anything bigger. At the end of the day, I feel this is more secure and trusted than the ledger and thats why I bought it. Security is more important than features, but it would be nice to be able to secure all good crypto here. Very happy though, overall.

You buy one of these devices when you want to hold your crypto currency yourself on your own device, usually unplugged from a computer and therefore invulnerable to theft and hacking. The instructions were straight forward. The best feature is that if I lose this no one can use it without my pin and logon code. And, if I lose the device, I have established a long list of words as the code to activate another device to hold my crypto. Im new to this and only holding one type of coin. It seems that the newer version of this may be better for those holding many types of coins. Trezor links to a couple exchanges if you choose to use them, but you dont have to. You can use this to trade on any exchange. Just send your coin to the exchange, do whatever you want to with it there and when youre ready bring your crypto coin back to live on your Trezor.

Verified Purchase Very happy with this product Works as advertised and very easy to use. Worth the price in peace of mind knowing your bitcoins are safe. I also own the Ledger Nano S. Although both are effective, i find Trezor easier to use overall. The one Con, storing ETH not as easy on Trezor as the Ledger Nano S.I think it is very easy to use and recommend you to buy it.

All wallets require a learning curve, but this is easy to use after a bit of practice. Recommend getting familiar using the wallet using tiny, expendable amounts of crypto at first. The app has very easily accessed features.

This device is well-built and has good security features. But Trezor has neither native support for connecting to a Bitcoin full node nor native support for 12 word seed phrases (only 24 word seed is selectable). You will have to use additional software and run python programming scripts to get it done. The Trezor has a good user interface and functions perfectly well if all you want to do is HODL. You could just write the 24 word seed on something and store it. However, If full node connectivity and a simpler, more easily memorized 12 word seed instead of 24 is important to you, you may need to keep looking.

Been using this to store currency for 2 months and suddenly I am locked out of it and not able to connect in any way. I’ve tried different cables, different USB ports, different computers and 3 different methods to connect (myetherwallet, trezor app in Chrome, and wallet.trezor.io). I’ve exchanged multiple emails with TREZOR technical support but have only been asked a lot of questions with no solutions. I fear I have lost several thousand dollars worth of currency. BE VERY CAREFUL HOW YOU STORE YOUR CURRENCIES. UPDATE--after several emails back/forth with Tech Support, lots of frustration, its finally working again and all access is restored. Restoring the TREZOR bridge into my OSX is what it needed. I dont know why, but trezor worked great for several weeks without the bridge, then suddenly stopped allowing access. This is why I say its for techies...is it secure? Im not a good one to ask, but the experts say it is.

I cannot blame the product because i am not 100% certain, but with the level of care i put into backing up the wallet and triple checking my seed phrase, i am led to believe the first seed phrase the device gave me was a dud... Currently locked out of my bitcoin, did a firmware update and when i was asked to reenter the seed phrase it didnt work. Im not blaming trezor, but i wanted to at least state my experience in a review so if this happens to anyone else we might be able to find a pattern and recourse.
