> 3 dayI cannot blame the product because i am not 100% certain, but with the level of care i put into backing up the wallet and triple checking my seed phrase, i am led to believe the first seed phrase the device gave me was a dud... Currently locked out of my bitcoin, did a firmware update and when i was asked to reenter the seed phrase it didnt work. Im not blaming trezor, but i wanted to at least state my experience in a review so if this happens to anyone else we might be able to find a pattern and recourse.

Greater than one weekgreat place to store Bitcoin and Ethereum, not much else (coin choices) are available to store on this version. I mean there are a few other coin options but not coins that make sense to be invested in. I here Ledger now offers hot trading through the FTX Exchange. My next storage device will be the Ledger. But do note, I love this Trezor for storing my Bitcoin and Ethereum - it is so easy to use

> 3 dayIf you have any thought at all about buying cryptocurrencies, you want to make sure you have a safe and secure way to store it. In my opinion, personally maintaining your private keys is vital to the security and integrity of your crypto assets. For that reason, this Trezor device is the way to go. Ive had this for over 8 months now and it has worked great the entire time. 100% recommended. Even though there is a new model available, this one is still a great option to keep in your arsenal. Good Luck!

> 3 dayIm one of the 20 percent of users who got a defective one. Device doesnt work and freezes up. Only detected a few times and then stopped working all together. Customer support is so bad it would almost be better if they didnt exist at all. They suggested I reset it to factory settings which is hilarious for two reasons: 1. Whats the point of even owning this lame device if you have to reset it to factory settings regularly 2. Resetting to factory settings didnt do anything. They also brought up that I should keep my keys separate in case something like this happens and well, yeah everyone knows that. Im not missing my funds because I have the keys, but this device literally does not work and offers nothing. I spent a little over $80 and basically got told oh well, thats why you should back up your keys offline. I dont say this much but I do hope this company goes out of business because what they are doing borders on fraud. Disgusing

> 3 dayAfter researching (a lot!) I found that the Trezor 1 would be an extremely safe way to go in storing my cryptocurrency. As a newbie to the crypto world Im leery of all these websites/exchanges/brokers so I wanted something that I could use immediately after I purchased any cryptocurrency. The Trezor is very easy to set up and use through the Trezor website. Although noting is 100% I dont understand how anyone would ever be able to hack a Trezor wallet...its not connected to anything until you plug it in! And then you have some pretty serious security measures just to link up to the Trezor site, which is awesome! So far Ive been able to send crypto from my Coinbase account to my Trezor wallet within seconds and with no issues. HIGHLY recommend one of these for any cryptocurrency owner!

> 3 dayJust got this device and the setup process and associated documentation is horrible! The instructions are to plug the device into a USB port and then go to trezor.io/start. On the device itself the screen just says please wait, and the trevor.io/start website has sections on how to enter a PIN. But there are no further instructions and no PIN screen appears on the PC (Im using a Windows 7 Pro OS). After some fiddling around, I discovered by random searching that the bridge software must be first downloaded. I downloaded and installed that, but running the installed .EXE does nothing. No windows open ... nothing at all happens. After unplugging the Trezor, plugging back in, restarting the bridge software, still nothing. Finally, after more snooping around, I stumbled upon a web page that said the devices ship without any firmware installed. This should be in big, red blinking font on trevor.io/start ... but is nowhere to be found on that web page, which also contains no other information on how to set up the device. You have to trial and error search around to discover how to actually get the PIN entered, then it is entered again, and finally the 24 recovery words are given. Once that process completes you can run the trezor wallet routine from the web browser (again, just trying things), and when I did that and got a device label entered, I get a message setup failed, with a message that the device was unplugged during the setup process (it wasnt). It does show an account but I have no idea if the setup process worked or not because of this error, and the lack of any organized setup documentation makes this thing worthless as far as I am concerned. I tossed it in the garbage for that reason and would suggest that anyone wanting a bitcoin wallet search elsewhere. If Trezor would create some setup documentation that actually applies to the device it may be useful, but as it exists now you are on your own trying to get through the process (and in my case that ended with an error that the setup failed due to unplugging the device, when it was never unplugged). Waste of time and money. (Edit:... apparently my device had some kind of hardware problem and the setup error was real, and prevented any further use of it. So it was dead on arrival, but Id still leave the documentation comments in place as they need to describe the setup process better at trezor.io/start)

> 3 dayThis trezor is a sweet little hardware wallet. It holds bitcoin, litecoin, etherium, etherium classic and zcash. It also holds all erc20 tokens as it is compatible with my ether wallet which is a pretty cool feature. With the trezor you only have to remember one key (that you decide) and all of your cryptos are safe. too easy right? So STOP leaving ur cryptos on the exchange for someone to steal. The set up is simple and easy to use even for beginners. I highly recommend this to people who are first time hardware wallet buyers, because at under $100 it is a great deal for much needed security for your money! Be smart and protect yourself with a hardware wallet! *Just know that you have to use chrome browser to open it! Hope this review helps :)

Greater than one weekYou buy one of these devices when you want to hold your crypto currency yourself on your own device, usually unplugged from a computer and therefore invulnerable to theft and hacking. The instructions were straight forward. The best feature is that if I lose this no one can use it without my pin and logon code. And, if I lose the device, I have established a long list of words as the code to activate another device to hold my crypto. Im new to this and only holding one type of coin. It seems that the newer version of this may be better for those holding many types of coins. Trezor links to a couple exchanges if you choose to use them, but you dont have to. You can use this to trade on any exchange. Just send your coin to the exchange, do whatever you want to with it there and when youre ready bring your crypto coin back to live on your Trezor.

> 3 dayTrezor does exactly what it is supposed to. You are in charge of your private keys and this will keep your bitcoin safe through the use of multiple security protocols. They even allow the use of hidden wallets using hidden passphrases on top of your private keys. Furthermore, they also support the Bitcoin forks that have occurred so far (Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold). I know theres a few more forks coming for December so I hope they support those too. On top of all that, they also gave me a handful of Trezor stickers with my purchase. I only subtracted one star because the Ether wallet has to go through MyEtherWallet, and this can be kind of confusing at first. If youre smart enough to invest in a hardware wallet, youll be smart enough to figure out the MyEtherWallet user interface. I also wish they supported more altcoins. They already support a handful of coins but the ones I would like to see are Monero and IOTA.
