> 3 dayThe BRO3 by Triangle is a remarkable speaker for its size and price. I’ve ran through several of theses under $500 bookself speakers and these are best of the lot. The biggest surprise I had with a set of speakers since I picked up a set of used vintage Dynaco A-25s.

Greater than one weekIm not an expert and bought these based on reviews by the audiophiles. However my brother is. He is a musician and owns the largest recording studio in Las Vegas (The Tone Factory). I have the hooked up top a vintage Pioneer SX980. I was extremely impressed, so time to get my brother over here. He, besides being a sound engineer only deals with High end equipment. He was as impressed as I was.......

> 3 dayI was recently in the market for a speaker in the $500-700 range, and glad I finally settled on these after seeing some rave reviews for them. I auditioned the Klipsch RP600M, the KEF Q350, the ELAC Debut Reference DBR62, and these. My gear: U-turn Orbit with Nagaoka MP-110, run through a PS Audio Sprout100. I primarily listen to vinyl. Klipsch: I guess Im not a fan of the Klipsch horn sound, because despite all the fantastic reviews, I almost instantly decided these werent for me. Too much treble, bass, and not enough mids. KEF: These are amazing speakers, with some of the best separation, imaging clarity, and soundstage Ive heard. I mean I was blown away by the imaging. For some reason I didnt like the tone of them, though. Too dry sounding for me, if that makes sense. Elac: I really liked these as well, especially the mids. They just sounded beautiful, very warm sounding. But they were a little boring, and with the Nagaoka already being kind of warm, it was just a little too much. The Triangles, however, do a little bit of everything. They were a little bright out of the box, but after some good break in period (I lost track of how much - maybe 5-10 hours?) they just come to life. Imaging and soundstage is not quite as good as the KEF, but oh man, the tone. These things sound beautiful. Listening to some Grateful Dead shows, and I just cant stop grinning at how good the guitars sound. Very life-like. Theyve also made me realize how much better some of my records are than others, because I can now hear the difference! These speakers continue to impress me more every day. Be sure to give these plenty of room from back walls, because even though theyre front ported, they will sound stifled if you place them up against a wall. Also try and get at least six feet between the two speakers for the best effect. Lastly, although beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I think these are very attractive speakers (I got the oak finish with white face). The gray tweed grilles look very cool, so much so that I keep them on unless doing some critical listening. Enjoy!!

> 3 dayOut of the box they were a delight. And they were even better after a few weeks of playing. I have played mostly classical music for which these speakers performed with clear full bodied sound across the spectrum from lows to highs. Limited listening to operatic sopranos produced clear vibrant high notes. Overall, these speakers were recommended by the New York Times after testing many alternatives. They have shown clear quality variation in some CDs. I am very satisfied.

> 3 dayIve been listening to the same speakers (Paradigm Mini Monitor MK2s) for about 20 years. They were a terrific value when I bought them and I have appreciated their sound quality since. However, this past year I decided to upgrade my old HK receiver and Phillips turntable to more current equipment. The last piece of the puzzle were speakers although I was pretty happy with the Paradigms. I decided to try and address the two criticisms I had of them- slightly edgy highs and slightly quiet mids. After a ton of research online I narrowed my choice down to the Triangles vs. The Elac Uni-fi UB52. Then I searched for every YouTube video on both of them. What I heard from sound samples was that the Elacs had a distinctly metallic sound to them. This might be due to their aluminum drivers, not sure. I finally settled on the Triangles and was ready to order. I have been a happy camper ever since. These are definitely an improvement on the Paradigms. Great bass, smoother but well defined highs and nice forward mids for great vocals and instruments. The icing on the cake is that I searched around and found a Black Friday sale for $349! (Sorry Amazon). You WILL love these even at full price.

08-06-2025I have been a fan of home audio for decades and so sound of my systems are quite important with a dedicated system in virtually every room of my house. I wanted to upgrade the speakers in the living room which is a fairly low-usage environment although recently we have been using it more for entertainment and relaxation. I have a dedicated Mediaroom with a fairly high-end theater system so I have that as my standard. These BRO3 (yes bro 3) speakers blew me away, a huge upgrade over the name brand towers they replaced, brilliant highs, warm forward midrange and realistic but not overpowering bass is the sound signature. Coupled with a moderate but tight/fast sub they are amazing and I highly recommend them.
