Clear, crisp, tight...! I am falling in love with my music collection all over again. I havent bought speakers in years, I am glad I waited. These are great sounding. Do not hesitate. Hooked them up to a Fosi Audio amp.....sublime....

I have only had these for less that two weeks. I suspect they will continue to improve but sound good out of the box. I am using these with ancient equipment I purchased in the 1980s (NAD amp, Rotel CD). Have yet to connect my cheap Audio Technica turntable (my B&O unit from the 80s is dead, I fear). overall sound response is good. Obviously, there are times the bass could use some help. Really nice voice reproduction. Am listening to some classical piano currently and it sounds great. They create a nice sound stage, even when sitting off to the side. Listening to various CDs of various genres, there are definitely differences in how things sound. I suspect this is due to the limitations of my ancient equipment. For example old Steely Dan and Stevie Wonder CDs sound muted when compared to Pixies and Gorillaz. I didnt notice things like this with my old (80s) vintage speakers, which were floor standing with a substantial footprint (prophile3+). Dont know if that is difference in recording or mastering or that these are just better due to modern engineering. That said, it will be fun to keep listening and figure out.

    Greater than one week

Received these yesterday... WOW !! these speakers sound great right out of the box. Much clearer with greater drive than the Elacs I purchased last year. Found these on sale for $ 350 during Christmas Holiday. Man Im so happy I did. Easily worth the full list price .

I was recently in the market for a speaker in the $500-700 range, and glad I finally settled on these after seeing some rave reviews for them. I auditioned the Klipsch RP600M, the KEF Q350, the ELAC Debut Reference DBR62, and these. My gear: U-turn Orbit with Nagaoka MP-110, run through a PS Audio Sprout100. I primarily listen to vinyl. Klipsch: I guess Im not a fan of the Klipsch horn sound, because despite all the fantastic reviews, I almost instantly decided these werent for me. Too much treble, bass, and not enough mids. KEF: These are amazing speakers, with some of the best separation, imaging clarity, and soundstage Ive heard. I mean I was blown away by the imaging. For some reason I didnt like the tone of them, though. Too dry sounding for me, if that makes sense. Elac: I really liked these as well, especially the mids. They just sounded beautiful, very warm sounding. But they were a little boring, and with the Nagaoka already being kind of warm, it was just a little too much. The Triangles, however, do a little bit of everything. They were a little bright out of the box, but after some good break in period (I lost track of how much - maybe 5-10 hours?) they just come to life. Imaging and soundstage is not quite as good as the KEF, but oh man, the tone. These things sound beautiful. Listening to some Grateful Dead shows, and I just cant stop grinning at how good the guitars sound. Very life-like. Theyve also made me realize how much better some of my records are than others, because I can now hear the difference! These speakers continue to impress me more every day. Be sure to give these plenty of room from back walls, because even though theyre front ported, they will sound stifled if you place them up against a wall. Also try and get at least six feet between the two speakers for the best effect. Lastly, although beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I think these are very attractive speakers (I got the oak finish with white face). The gray tweed grilles look very cool, so much so that I keep them on unless doing some critical listening. Enjoy!!

I purchased these speakers based on a review in a national publication. I think theyre absolutely incredible! I listen mostly to jazz and 60s rock. With these speakers, I hear details on many recordings that Ive never noticed before. I am playing CDs, Apple lossless streaming and Vinyl through these speakers. I use a Dragonfly audioquest black for the streaming. My amp is a Cambridge Audio AXA35--nothing fancy, but it certainly gets the job done! I have never, repeat never, heard speakers at this price point sound so good. Highly recommended.

Well I first got Paradigm SE Atom, then to Klispch 600m, to JBL Stage 190, to Jbl studio 530. I think I have something I can live with. It is is small room 10 x 11. The Bro 3 have a balanced sound, great vocals, great bass and clear sounding. Im powering them thew yamaha intergrated amp s801. 100 watts per channel @ 8 ohms. And something happened, when I was playing at a pretty high listening level, I felt this cool breeze come over me. It was refreshing he he. Well those two front base ports were pumping out cool air that I could feel at 6 feet away. Better I not go to 3/4 volume it might knock me out of my chair (a little exaggeration here). I now prefer front ported speakers over rear ports. Im thinking if they sound this good now, what more lovely they will sound after 40 hours or so break in! I wish they would insrease the whoofer to 7 inch in larger speaker. 7 is Gods favorite number, I once has ADS 710s and they were a favorite speaker for me in the 70s and 80s.

After reading countless reviews and watching y/tube videos praising these speakers I bought these from adorama over b/friday. They sound good but nowhere as good as I was led to believe. They image fairly well and Im sure most people will find them to be adequate, but they just didnt do it for me. I found them lacking in weight in their sound signature and sounding hallow. I have the Klipsch RP600Ms and the Studio 530s and after A/Bing both, preferred them both over the BRO3s. In another room I have the Polk RTIA3 and though the BRO3s offer a pleasing sounding high end, in the end the lack of bass response made me gravitate toward the Polks. So maybe Z was right after all. Theres something not quite right about these speakers. Either a defect or something that only some people experience because it seems a majority of folks seem to love the BRO3s. In my case, I was happy to bear the cost of return shipping to send these back. For me to keep them, they would have to be discernibly better than what I have...and they were not.

They sound as good as the KEF LS50 metas that I have. Thats right. Get three pair of the BOREA. I own a lot of speakers. Klipsch Triangle Warfendale KEF and others. These sound as good as any. Well, maybe not as good as the Klipsch. Hard to beat the Klipsch for the money. Happy Listening.

Great speakers for the money. They have a break in period on them, after about 40 hours of playing music through them they really begin ţo open up.

I was worried when I first got these that I would need a subwoofer, but with proper placement you dont need a thing! Just hook these bad boys up to your amplifier, sit in the middle of them and enjoy! Incredible sound staging for these size speakers, great detail and not lacking anywhere that I can find! They also look fantastic without the grilles on! Well worth your money if you want something sleek looking and with a fantastic audio quality. Tested on multiple amps and all ranges of volumes, they have yet to fail me in any way. If youre unsure, try them out. Return them if you dont like them, but Im sure you wont! Whether or not you believe burn in ( I dont ) I found that with multiple listening sessions on these guys gave my ears plenty of time to adjust to the treble forward sound. These are extremely detailed and work well with all types of music, from classic to modern rap, these handle it all with ease all while looking great!

A bookshelf design to be placed on a dedicated stand (S02 or S04), the Borea BR03 is equipped with a 25mm EFS silk dome tweeter and a 16cm midrange/bass driver. The untreated cellulose paper membrane, developed for the Esprit Ez series, confers a natural sound with no coloration. The vocal range keeps all its intensity and the low frequencies their usual dynamism without ever generating listening fatigue.

Powerful Performance

This size is especially recommended for dedicated listeners looking for the performance of a floorstander in a compact design. From the very first notes, the BR03 impresses with its energy, delivery of deep notes, and power handling. This speaker will fit perfectly in rooms ranging from 15 to 30m2.
