Decent fidelity for the size. I am unable to place them 20 from the back wall as I think was recommended (despite the fact that the bass ports are in the front of the speakers). Mine are only about 10 from the back wall. In my opinion, the bass is a bit prominent (but muffled) for accuracy (comparing to my Sony MDR-V6 headphones, which are said to be VERY accurate). The treble seems good. Piano sounds excellent on these speakers. Overall, I am pleased, considering the small size and placement in my small area. Not surprisingly, they sound a bit better with the grill removed. I will add that break-in seemed to improve things only a bit.

I reviewed speakers for months before my purchase. Ive had these now for two months and couldnt be more satisfied. Even though they did not have enough base for the reviewer Joe and Tell, they have more than enough for my taste. So I would guess if you are a basehead, these are not for you. I love the clarity of these speakers. I also purchased the center speaker and together they have fantastic vocal output. For someone who wants more than boom, boom, boom, from their speakers, these cannot be beaten by anything below a $1000 bucks.

I am running Tidal through a Topping DX7 Pro DAC through my 300B Tube Amp and into these. All I can say is, HOLY S***! I sold a pair of RP-600Ms last week and had my eye on these. Dont get me wrong. The 600Ms were nice. Just a little shy on the bass. A lot of online reviewers suggest a sub with these as well. Not needed. Not in the least. They are dual ported on the front and you can hear it. This amp is pushing maybe 5 clean watts per channel and sitting 6 feet away I dont need the volume past 9 oclock. The BR03s are 90 dB sensitive. Everything is crisp, clear, and probably as good as you can get for under $1k / pair. Maybe a bit more. Oh, and, they are gorgeous! At least the Light Oak model is.

After reading countless reviews and watching y/tube videos praising these speakers I bought these from adorama over b/friday. They sound good but nowhere as good as I was led to believe. They image fairly well and Im sure most people will find them to be adequate, but they just didnt do it for me. I found them lacking in weight in their sound signature and sounding hallow. I have the Klipsch RP600Ms and the Studio 530s and after A/Bing both, preferred them both over the BRO3s. In another room I have the Polk RTIA3 and though the BRO3s offer a pleasing sounding high end, in the end the lack of bass response made me gravitate toward the Polks. So maybe Z was right after all. Theres something not quite right about these speakers. Either a defect or something that only some people experience because it seems a majority of folks seem to love the BRO3s. In my case, I was happy to bear the cost of return shipping to send these back. For me to keep them, they would have to be discernibly better than what I have...and they were not.

This is not an expert review, but these speaker are really good. I started with a little 10 watt tube amp and these speakers sound great. They have a nice sound stage with a little toe in. Real nice mid and treble without being harsh. Bass for me is a little light but that could be my listening environment and low power amp, rather than the speakers(and the are book shelves). Right now I am only able to stream the music, and am excited to get the chance to listen with a larger amp using CDs and vinyl

I upgraded from the Elac Debut 6.2. and moved them as front surround duty. Though the imaging was great they were a bit unlively in my opinion for a two channel setup. The Triangle Borea BR03 image just as well but with more warmth to the overall presentation, more sparkle in the highs and more up front livley presentation in the midrange. Sublime for Jazz, Classical and Blues. Electronica really pops out as well. What can i say, its an excellent speaker and value for $549 a pair. The finish is very nice looking and the magnetic speaker grills are a nice touch. You wont go wrong with this choice for the entry level audiophile or the average person who appericiates great sounding music. There are a bunch of youtube videos the have high praise for these speakers and is a good reference to help you make the decision. Thanks to the seller for promt delivery and competitive price. They package arrived in excellent condition.

I bought the Triangle BR03s from another site which sell these at a big discount pretty regularly hoping to feed my newly found craze for budget audiophile gear. Prior to this, I had been largely content with my DefTech SM 450s and SM 55 in my home theater setup. Recently, I had starting upgrading my home theater system piecemeal with Polk LSiM 702 surrounds, Klipsch RP-280FA for Fronts, 450C for Center, R-41M for middle heights as they became available on sale and finally 2 x SVS PB-1000 Pros for subs. I then started looking for something hi-fi for my office den for listening to stereo music when I came across these as highly recommend and bought this. They definitely deserve the high praise in terms of fidelity, but I often found the sound too thin and fatiguing with different amps, the best of which I have is the 100w Class A/B Dayton Audio HTA100BT tube amp which already was toning the speaker down. I had originally been a bit disappointed with the Polk LSiM 702 as I barely had any juice on my Denon X3200W to drive them, but they started to shine really well as I got better external amps to drive them and they turned out to be just as high fidelity as the BR03 but without the fatigue and a punchier bass. I soon swapped my BR03 with the Polks with the former now relegated to surround duty. Given my experience above, I would say that if you are looking for non-fatiguing high fidelity speakers for smallish areas, I would definitely recommend going with the Polk Reserve series (R200 in particular as the successor to the LSiM series) and you should not be disappointed regardless of the room size. I say this as someone who absolutely loves the Klipshs brightness and clarity for movies, but not for music.

The sound is really sterling. This is my second pair. I returned the first because white doesnt sit well with my array of speakers. Still Im thrilled everytime I listen to my Triangle Borea BR03--and Ive auditioned a number of speakers recently, including the KEF LS50 Meta, before I picked these speakers as my choice. Triangle really nailed it.

A bookshelf design to be placed on a dedicated stand (S02 or S04), the Borea BR03 is equipped with a 25mm EFS silk dome tweeter and a 16cm midrange/bass driver. The untreated cellulose paper membrane, developed for the Esprit Ez series, confers a natural sound with no coloration. The vocal range keeps all its intensity and the low frequencies their usual dynamism without ever generating listening fatigue.

Powerful Performance

This size is especially recommended for dedicated listeners looking for the performance of a floorstander in a compact design. From the very first notes, the BR03 impresses with its energy, delivery of deep notes, and power handling. This speaker will fit perfectly in rooms ranging from 15 to 30m2.
