I was super hesitant to buy Tribotex. I have been following this company for a while now. You know 100 bucks for something that you don’t know will work or not and there is no way to return it if you are not satisfied with the result. More importantly, what if this messes up the engine. It’s point of no return. I have an FJ cruiser 2012 and I have already crossed 130k. Lately, the engine started to sound weird. It’s like, I could feel engine with soar throat every time I started the engine. I could feel that engine was dragging a bit, like sluggish. I was just at the point of selling it but then I thought why not just give Tribotex a shot and to be honest I love everything about FJ. I change engine oil and I pumped in Tribotex engine. I mean almost instantly my engine was sounding better, driving better. For while I have been in denial. I feel like it’s new engine oil but it’s obviously not the first time I changed oil. Lol. I have covered few hundred miles since I have used Tribotex and as per the company the formula will kick-in after 500 miles and honestly I can’t wait. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. 1999 Suburban. 232K. 700 miles ago the old black beast had its oil changed and I added TriboTEX. Roughly 5 minutes after adding it the engine started to quiet down. We took our youngest back to college and during the ride my wife commented on how much quieter the Suburban sounded. I noticed more power and acceleration seemed a lot smoother. I was very happy with the results and honestly I wasnt expecting much more, ie improved MPG. Well today I filled the tank(2nd fill since TriboTEX) and calculated the the MPG and found out I am getting roughly a 5.5% increase. Very pleased with the results.

I bought this for my 2005 Saab 9-3 Aero Turbo with 134k+ miles on the odometer. The instructions said it takes 500 miles for full effect. Within 100 miles I noted that my engine was idling much more smoothly, to the extent I had to check the tach to make sure it hadnt stalled. Previously the car had a problem with increased turbo lag, but within 300 miles after I added TriboTEX the turbo had become much more responsive. There was a time when I had thought I would need to replace this car, but now it feels like its good for at least another 50k. I have since bought TriboTEX for my other cars, a 2006 (165k) and 2009 (110k) Saab 9-3 V6 Turbo Aeros, and both have shown increased performance and better gas mileage. While TriboTEX may seem expensive, the benefits in improved performance and gas mileage means it pays for itself in the long run.

easy to install , but only put about 250 miles since installing. It did seem to quite the motor slightly , I only have 16,000 miles

I was skeptical at first but, at 501 miles to the mile my Jeep Grand Cherokee got more horse power and the engine knock quieted down. I now get more power. Last time I check I went from 0 to 60 in 5 seconds. Not sure what it did before I put it in, because I never checked. I don’t think they would charge a $100.00 if it wasn’t worth it. I also have a older Jeep Cherokee with the 4.0 straight six that had a loud lifter knock which they are notorious for and it made it quieter. Gas mileage is the same but, cheaper than a new engine. I will buy again if need be but, don’t know when to add a new one. You get what you pay for and I think it is worth every penny. Matter of fact I have bought this for other people and promote it without a penny in return. Just because no one knows about this product unless you look for it. I also did extensive research before purchasing. Most reviews are positive. I don’t know if you change the oil if it still effective but, I would assume that it stays in the engine as it sticks to the inner workings of the engine. Will buy again on new car.

I really dont go out much. I havent noticed any difference yet. I figure it is like taking vitamins, to really cant tell most of the time.

2006 325xi sedan, 130k miles. Added TriboTEX Nano additive. Lots of highway driving, 3-4k rpm in 3L straight 6. Seeing 10% improvement in in-city gas mileage, 15% on highway. Product claims reduction in engine noise - you can hear the difference. Absolutely the case. At idle the engine is simply quieter. Ill be a repeat customer.

I have tried almost every snake oil out there and there are only three I have ever found that worked, Tribotex is one of them and I have used it in five cars and have experienced with excellent results. 4 to 6 percent better mileage, and I have used them in both the transmission and engine. It was a noticeable difference, let me put it this way is was like driving a newer, different, car because of the engine noise drop and the overall feel of the car improved. Most snake oils only increase viscosity and make you think there is a real improvement, when they just mask the problems. Just like doctors that give you pain meds. to cover up the real symptoms, etc. without dealing with the real problems. The last thing is the fact is that the material wears out over time, which does not leave a metal damaging residue. I am also looking forward to improvements that make it last longer and the particles lining themselves up in a desirable pattern improving the overall performance even more! I am buying a new expensive performance car and I plan on adding this product as recommended after the first oil change. Transmission too

I don’t see why these people are giving a 1 star rating. I have been a mechanic for over 30 years. I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler with 178,000 miles on it. I added this product and I noticed differences right away. I live in a mountainous area and since using this product my shifting and engine RPM pattern has been way different. Hills that I used to have to downshift on are a thing of the past. I feel this product took my engine back to 78,000 miles instead of it having 178,000 miles. I am really tempted to use it in my transmission, transfer case and differentials. I wish I knew someone that had a high mileage vehicle that vislabaly burnt oil to try this product in to see if and how this product worked on it.
