Great surge protector. If you have an rack with a closing door on it, attach to the rear of the rack. If you place it in the front you will have the plug ins have a harsh bend when the door is closed.

Needed a power strip to fit in a road case slot. This one filled the bill

We bought this because we need to extend the reach of the wall socket and for that it performed nicely. The big plus for me is that by chance the tall microwave rack we had also used a Tripp Lite cord panel so it was a perfect fit for the rack and matched the other, like it was meant to be there.

Tripp Lite is the industry standard for a reason. Dont buy any of that crappy Furman power gear. Im a DJ, and Live sound guy. I will never use another power strip other than these. My oldest one is 16 years old, and still kickin!

I purchased this product for a multi-room audio equipment rack. I mainly decided on this particular product because it was priced reasonably, It is rated for 20 amps which I wanted due to powering a couple of large amplifiers and having a dedicated 20 amp circuit already installed. And because of the Tripp-Lite name brand. I have an isolation transformer put out by the same company that I have used for years with no issues. Also I wanted something that would be a good quality surge protector without needless frills like many of the other products on the market.

Nice,except has a abnormal AC plug end, which I have never seen in my life(and Im a professional audio engineer) You will need an adapter to use with a normal wall outlet. 2 Stars for not making that clear in the product listing, otherwise itd be 4-5stars.
