I have three of these, each hooked to UPSes (one with two of them). The model I ordered didnt have any surge protection capabilities, and that is exactly what I wanted (as my UPS manual said to not use any surge suppressors/protectors). Two of my units are mounted to racks, and one is in a custom wooden enclosure under my sit-stand desk. This pairs really nicely with those 6-12 wall-wart extension cords if you have a lot of transformers to plugin.

I need this so that I can use my 2 Corsair 1500 watt PSUs that I am going to place in my Caselabs TX10-D case. If I need more PSUs then I will be able to add them to the case and the surge protector.

This surge protector has two groups of outlets. The first group has basic surge protection and the second group has surge protection plus noise filtering. There are indicator lights so you know if you are protected, a circuit breaker, and a covered on/off switch so you dont accidentally bring your systems down by bumping the switch. The picture shown on Amazon is actually two units, one atop the other, to show the front and back. There are two convenience outlets on the front where the indicator lights, breaker button, and on/off switch are located. These are basic surge protected outlets. The back has six more of these outlets, plus four outlets with the additional noise filtering. I tested it with a properly grounded power system and one with a faulty ground, and the unit indicated the condition of each, with a green light for the properly grounded system and a fault light for the faulty grounded system. I would buy more of these if needed.

Extremely solid. I use this inside a Walkie Talkie case to charge 10 radios at once without removing them and it has worked like a charm for years. Someone managed to break the button protector for the off switch, but thats most likely because it was rented to someone who had no clue what they were doing. The unit is super reliable and has never had a single hiccup. Im buying a second one now for a second case. My only hiccup is that its a bit heavy, but thats an indicator of quality and not something to complain about, I just happen to be using it for a mobile application.

Just as advertised. This is a rackmount power strip with many outlets on both sides and a impressively long power cord. It does exactly what I needed it to,

Best part of this power strip was the power cord was 15 feet long, no troubles getting to the emergency outlet. The other plus with this unit is there are outlets on the front and rear of the unit.

I returned because I needed to go with a UPS, however this stripe is heavy duty, has plenty of outlets, front and back, it includes empty outlet covers which is neat and overall I was very satisfied by the build, quality, and price.
