Works well. But I have had issues with the main power switch failing. Keep your receipt, Tripp Lite will replace the unit if it fails.

I bought this to have convenient outlets on my workdesk, using vertical space on a rack rather than clutter in the work area. I chose this for the basic design. I only needed the front facing outlets, not any special voltage/surge control. The construction is sturdy. The internal wiring is nicely done for something designed for easy factory assembly. I got to see it taking things apart to remove the clear plastic cover from the master switch. I agree with other reviewer that the green power LED is a bit bright. The power strip has been handy as intended. I am happy with the purchase.

I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone who asked. Solid metal construction. Seems very durable. If you need a rackmount power strip this one is well worth the money. Ive been using it about a week with no problems.

Some not good made in China quality showing here. The illuminated rocker on/off switch is very loose and sliding around in its large rectangular cutout. No reason that the cutout needed to be made so wide. They could have gone with a much better quality switch and a tighter install.
