> 3 dayI screwed this strip to a piece of hardwood, then C-clamped it to the back of my table, and it is solid as a rock! It is extremely well-made and solid, and I push and pull power plugs in and out with one hand and its solid as a bank vault! For once my mess of power cords is safe and really secure, and I have the cords I want out of sight in the back, with outlets up front for things I need to get at. I also have a UPS that everything plugs into and another Tripp-Lite unit with cable TV, Network, and phone jacks to cover the rest of my rig and isolate it from surges and lightning.

> 3 dayFor my home network this was overkill. But it works fine. It comes with covers for the front plugs.

> 3 dayOk, 5 STARS, no quality control issues. Everything I expected from Tripp Lite and more. I have two Isobar smaller units in white, so was I surprised when I lit up my. I was using the white outlets that provide the cleanest and possibly extra protection, and I had removed the plug from Isobar 8, minutes before, I plugged in my AVR. But the same disc was in CD player and the power was the only difference, this was not expected. The sound difference fantastic, clear, crisp. I have known professionals who have sworn by these, and unless you have a very noisy or overloaded circuits this is the way to go. I will buy another when I build the rack holding recording stuff, at that point I will have all my audio/video on Isobar units.

> 3 dayThis has a relatively high energy absorbing capability when compared to other surge suppressors. We use them for protecting the LADEE and MAVEN spacecraft simulators. I just had to have one for my home theater system. The two front outlets are perfect for plugging in accessories like my laptop or charging my MP3 player.

> 3 dayHighly, highly, highly recommend! Had in place covering key electronics when I had lightening direct hit my building. Not surprised the Surge unit was not enough to stop the direct hit as nothing stops Mother Nature, but the company was top notch. Within days I had a new surge unit and in a month they fully compensated me for the damage as the surge has $25,000 coverage. I worked with a person at Tripp Lite warranty who walked the refund through till it closed. Yes dealt with one person!! As I said, I highly recommend as they made a great product and if Mother Nature hits and hits hard, they have you covered.

> 3 dayInstalled this in my garage, attached to my work bench. I needed access to more outlets while at the work bench and devised some aluminum brackets to mount this down the front side leg. With plugs on both the front and back of this unit, I have the ability to keep items always plugged in at my bench powered by the outlets in the back and leaving the ones in the front open for temporary use. This also allowed for good cable management of the items always plugged in. An additional bonus is the plug for the item itself is a flat style plug and offset to one side. This very well might be a good fit for a Computer room, but it was an even better fit for a handy-mans workbench.
