TurboTax Home & Business Federal + e-File + State 2010 - [Old Version]

When it comes to taxes, it is an anxiety attack! It is nice to have a product that begins to set you at ease after just a few entries have been completed. A very intuitive and through process is accomplished when you finally hit the complete button and see your results. Even though it might say you owe at least youre assured that a good job was done!!

I bought Turbo Tax to file past taxes this year. the program worked well, but I had a problem with retaining the save file. I had to do my taxes twice and both times after I saved the file, upon trying to re-access the saved file there was no information to be found. I believe this may have been caused by using dated software on a updated OS. Otherwise the product work as expected.

Have used Turbo Tax for over 15 yrs. Only complaint I have now is that it prints pages not needed or requested. For example: If I want to print Form 1040, Turbo Tax prints three pages, the third page with something entirely not necessary.

The program is easy to use. You can stop and go as you please. I have used TurboTax the past three years and have been satisfied with the results.

The Vendor: Fantastic price. Took 3 days to arrive in the mail. The Product: Installed with no problems. I was worried that I would have to pay when I printed or that there would be an issue with activation. No activation, no issues. I have been using TT since 2006. Every year I install the program and import last years tax return data *.tax2009, *.tax2010, *.tax2011, and so on. Then I update the figures. Especially for my 1099 Schedule C Income from my side business activities and now I export from TD Ameritrade a *.txf (Tax eXchange Format) and pull all the trades right into TT. No more individual entries for the 1099-B.

Why have I been paying for a tax accountant all these years? Mine retired this year, and I had to find a new one. I decided it was finally time to try Turbo Tax. Wow, this is SO easy! If I want put the numbers in at midnight, I can, and I know I wont be getting a bunch of followup questions about what I bought and lord knows what else. Now, I now understand all the questions he used to ask. For years I was afraid to do my own taxes because I didnt understand depreciation. With this, you dont have to know anything, just fill in the blanks. Its GREAT! I cant wait till next year when all the entries from this year pop up automatically. :o)

This software made tax day much more palatable. I always hate to do taxes but have done them by hand for many years. Im a self employed software consultant, and I just tried this for the first time based on recommendations. It cuts the time and hastle to do complicated taxes to maybe 1/3 of the time it normally takes me. Highly recommended.

The software asked all necessary questions to get all valid deductions and to fill out forms required and accurately. My only issue was having done my taxes without software for 40 years it took some getting used to. I would recommend especially for those with a small business.

Each year the software gets better. I have been using TurboTax for decades. I know there are other tax software packages, but I dont want to learn a new one.

Ive been using TurboTax for over 12 years now and this one is even easier to use than before. I have a business that we started 2 years ago, and the Home & Business 2010 is great. From the little details to the what I would call more complex ... TurboTax takes you through it all step by (easy) step. The option for Audit Defense has been a great thing too. So far Ive not needed to put it into action and ask for help, but the comfort of knowing its there in case I need it is wonderful.
