> 3 dayInstallation was easy, outlet feels solid and well made. Nice to have the built in USB ports! Im sure now that Im replacing my outlets with these Ill be needing a USB C connection instead....... Happy with the purchase, the led light is bright, could be annoying if you are light sensitive. But I bought 4 more to do another room. Recommend

18-11-2024Great product, well priced. Perfect fit for my RV. Easier to change the outlets than install USB ports. Now I have USB ports outside the RV also.

> 3 dayI should have done a but more research before purchasing. I read the brief description listed with this outlet and saw the words fast charging. I assumed that this meant the same thing as rapid charging or the way in which my Samsung Galaxy S10 can charge. I installed this unit to rid the extra clutter and eliminate the extra charging piece. Once it was installed I plugged my phone in and did NOT look at its screen other than to see that the charging indicating light was on. A few hours later when I grabbed my phone on the way out the door I noticed that my phone was not fully charged. Later I tried it again and saw that by using the outlet only my phone read 8 hours to full charge. Then I plugged in the charger that came with my phone and it read 45 minutes to fully charge. That is a big difference. Maybe this unit is good for powering UBS sourced things such as a home security camera or other small things, but it is not good for fast charging a Samsung Galaxy phone. I bought 4 of these and installed 2 of them before noticing the charging speed difference so I am now stuck with them.

> 3 dayIll be honest it was super hard for me to install, but thats because I am an idiot when it comes to these things. After watching a quick YouTube video I was able to figure it out. Besides me being so dumb when it comes to hardware and tools, it was super simple to install for all others who can actually work a simple screwdriver. I was able to replace the outlet in the kitchen island, allowing my wife to charge her phones and potentially set up a docking station for additional device chargers now. The USB helps a lot because the bulky block that sticks out was not hitting the correct aesthetic measures and couldnt fit more items to be plugged when guest came over. Most of the time everybody has a USB not the block, this fits that example. At first, I was concerned regarding the charge power from the USBs, however, it actually charged my phone faster than some of the outlets in the house connected with a block. Seriously, since I have installed this in the house, it has been such a difference that cant be put into words how much easier to manage to charge your phone in the house. With two plugs still available, we now have more options for all the devices we want to be plugged in.

> 3 dayI wanted to like this item, and I did for about a year. Then just after the year mark one of the USB ports started acting up. When I would plug my Iphone into it, the phone would vibrate on and off continually. I tried a different charging cable and got the same result. I tried those cables in the 2nd USB port and they worked fine. I emailed the seller for a replacement and they told me to contact Amazon for a replacement. I did that and I had to be transferred to 3 different people before someone said they could help. The process took 30 minutes. I was told that I need to wait 24 hours to hear from a lead who is supposed to be able to fix this. Bottom line is that this product is not worth the hassle. The claimed 2 year warranty is not real.
