I like the star shaped lights yet it takes about 7 settings later to get to the still setting. The still setting should be first, then the other more blinking ones should follow.

I like how lights work, their color. Some of the stars were falling off the light bulbs, but you can put them back easily.

So far, so good. I just got them and put up today. I really like the size of the stars, and the colors. The stars do tend to fall off when untangling, but very easy to put back on. Also, three of the lights (all next to each other) flicker then either go out or stay on...so there must be some sort of short there. Hopefully, they stay on. Overall, not bad for the price. Might order some more, well see. *edit (months after use): the three problem lights ended up being just fine once up and not being handled. We left these lights up for a couple months, then rotated out to just white ones. We love both! Ill put the rainbow ones up again when Fall comes. I recommend these lights.

These are great TWINKLE STAR 100 LED STAR STRING LIGHTS. I ordered WHITE, the box sealed in China is marked WHITE, but the string of lights is BLUE yet they are so pretty Im keeping them. Im afraid to order another box if white because I dont need 2 strings of blue...but they will be really nice for Independence Day, Veterans Day, Memorial Day and any other patriotic holiday. (I actually kept them up all January on a timer.) And the variety of twinkle modes is awesome!

As much as I want to love these bulbs, the creator of the product did not consider the order in which the several setting or modes was saved. The first option should simply be a steady light, but instead it is set to an aggressive strobe light. I wanted to bring a set of these into my office at work, but with many students with seizure disorders that have visual triggers, this is automatically unusable since it will reset to the strobe feature each time it is turned off and back on. Shame because they are so cute otherwise!

The string of lights looks fine and does display with the various programs. However, the star-shaped light covers fall off VERY easily. Perhaps once you get the line set how you want it, then replace all the stars that fell off, and if you dont touch or jostle it--all would be well. But I found it very frustrating to keep replacing the star covers, If you really want the look, you may be able to resolve the issue by adding a small bit of glue to the base of each light, then put the star cover over it and let it dry. You may not be able to remove the cover, but it wont keep falling off!

The default plug setting is wild rave party, so my hopes of attaching it to a smart plug to automate it at dusk every evening was immediately dashed. I was able to find another plug online that I could replace that doesnt have 8 modes, but its single mode only illuminates half of the bulbs. Thats worked well enough for me for ambience so now Ive got it on a smart plug. Mission achieved. I also reached out to the company asking if they sold a single mode version of the plug I could buy, and they didnt have one.

I got these on a Black Friday special and used them all Christmas season. I bought four strands, hooked them together, and used them on our tree. The warm color was nice and the different settings were of a good variety to choose from. Some were a little too crazy and gave me a headache (but my kids and husband thought they were fun) but there were other settings that were both intermittent and not crazy. There is also a standard setting. The nice part is once you choose a setting it stays there there for plugging and unplugging unless you change it. NOW, the only drawback is that putting up and taking down these lights is kind of a pain because of the little star shape. It gets caught and tangles *very* easily. I took them down and put them on a reel hoping it will help for next year but even that was an ordeal so I think it’s just something you have to deal with.

Perfect - just what I needed

Perfect!! Just what I wanted. So far, I haven’t had any issues with my lights and I’ve had them for a few weeks now. They have the perfect, warm and inviting glow. Mine didn’t come with a remote control, so I don’t know if that’s normal or not, but I don’t need it any way. The only irritating thing, or somewhat inconvenient, is that the setting I want them on is setting #7 and I have to tap the button on the plug seven times before they glow solidly. Not a big issue though. They’re worth the money and I’m so grateful for them!
