> 3 dayAt the beginning, I thought its not working. And I was upset. After 15 mins, I realized that I didnt connect the other wire to the second laptop. LOL, thats why it can only connect to 1 laptop at the beginning. Works well!

> 3 dayFor what it does and the ease with which it does it, this little widget is fine. Switch is very fast. Versus direct connection between pc and monitor, theres no observable difference in video or keyboard and mouse response. I would give it 5 stars if not for the fact that when either my desktop or laptop goes to sleep, neither one will resync with the KB and mouse when they wake. Does anybody else have this problem? The only only way to get them to resync is to hard power cycle. Sure, I could turn off sleep but I dont want to run my devices 24/7. Or I could do full shutdowns and then wait for boot up every time I wanna use my gear. Thats annoying since Im on and off multiple times a day.

> 3 dayAfter reading some of the negative reviews, I was reluctant. But the price for the functionality was right. My guess is some people didnt pay attention to the connection diagram. After a reboot of each machine it all worked. I have had it over 30 days and had no issues. Solid product.

> 3 dayItem was very easy to install and works perfectly. I have it switching between a windows 7 system and a windows 10 system, and have had no problems at all. Follow the install instructions (which I did not do at first), and you will have no issues.

Greater than one weekFor those with only the monitor working, make sure your USB1 and VGA1 match the system connection. Or simply switch the USB lines to your two workstations to correct this problem. This KVM worked to support two laptop docking stations sharing a single keyboard and mouse. It also continued to support the smart card in the keyboard with no issues. This also solved a problem with USB devices not responding and requiring a disconnect from the back of the docking station to correct the error state. This KVM allows simple access in the front to disconnect and reconnect for a simple reset. One of the laptops also supports a second monitor via DVI. An outdated or old video driver may not support this option for you but mine simply places all of the apps back on the main display. This is a work laptop that I cannot update but I can live with the inconvenience.

> 3 dayI did a lot of research for my unique situation. One monitor, one mouse, one keyboard, and a HDMI laptop and VGA laptop. This product solved it. Im now able to switch between one computer to the other (work and personal) with a click of a button. The only thing to note is that the computer has to be off or sleeping in order for the monitor to switch (this wouldnt be a problem with two VGA inputs). I found a script online that allows me to turn off my monitor to accomplish this in an automated way. Again, this is due to my unique situation. Love the switch otherwise.

> 3 dayNow I can switch between my 2-computers using one monitor, with just a push of a button. Easy to hook up, works just fine and saves me a lot of switching cables, etc.

> 3 dayI wanted to keep my 10 year old Dell since it had programs no longer available, but I replaced it with another computer with a SSD drive and a 1 TB mechanical drive. So how to run two computers at the same time with one monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I hooked up all the equipment to the KVM (keyboard, video, monitor), and a simple button on top of the device lets me switch from one computer to another with ease. I am fairly computer literate and knew how to plan in advance. If youre a novice at computing, get some help with the setup since it matters whether you are using a wired keyboard and mouse or wireless peripherals Its also a space saver..
