I am using this device to move between two different PCs, so I do not have to use 2 keyboard and mice. Device works great. Have not had any issues.

For what it does and the ease with which it does it, this little widget is fine. Switch is very fast. Versus direct connection between pc and monitor, theres no observable difference in video or keyboard and mouse response. I would give it 5 stars if not for the fact that when either my desktop or laptop goes to sleep, neither one will resync with the KB and mouse when they wake. Does anybody else have this problem? The only only way to get them to resync is to hard power cycle. Sure, I could turn off sleep but I dont want to run my devices 24/7. Or I could do full shutdowns and then wait for boot up every time I wanna use my gear. Thats annoying since Im on and off multiple times a day.

I have desk space for only one monitor (a nice big 24), but I like to work with two different computers, one Windows 10 and another Windows 7. It takes 7 cables/USB functions to hook up this hub, but installation was simple and it all worked immediately upon start up. I started up one computer/host first and checked out the image, which was fine, and then started up the second and switched over to it, and it also worked (sort of) perfectly. The one glitch: the image displayed from second computer was clunky and rough, so I went in and manually corrected the resolution to 1920 x 1080, as recommended for that machine. Looks great now. There might have been an auto-installed driver that would have taken care of this, but this machine is (intentionally) never connected to the internet.

My PC was starting to get wonky. Not quite bad enough to get a new one but bad enough I was worried it would die soon. So I bought another PC but didnt want to give up on the old PC. Bought this and connected the two. Now I can switch back and forth, until the old one dies. And it was easier to move stuff to the new computer because I could instantly jump back and forth to see what I needed to copy. I still had to copy everything over on a flash drive or another way, but it made it easier because I could see what I had on the new and what needed to be moved from the old.

Love this switch! Simply put it works fantastic! Easy to install and switches between computers with the touch of a button. Used my wired keyboard and wireless mouse and it works perfectly!

I did a lot of research for my unique situation. One monitor, one mouse, one keyboard, and a HDMI laptop and VGA laptop. This product solved it. Im now able to switch between one computer to the other (work and personal) with a click of a button. The only thing to note is that the computer has to be off or sleeping in order for the monitor to switch (this wouldnt be a problem with two VGA inputs). I found a script online that allows me to turn off my monitor to accomplish this in an automated way. Again, this is due to my unique situation. Love the switch otherwise.

I was so excited to receive the box and am very pleased with it! Ive only had it 2 days, but everything is great so far. The only thing I didnt consider but luckily had an extra, was that once you plug each computer into the box, you still need another cable to connect to the monitor...

Bought this to replace the C2G 03364 2-Port VGA (HD15) Manual Switch Box, Beige which started to fail after about 3 years because the mechanical switch no longer gives a stable connection. This one works perfectly out of the box (I am only using it for the VGA connections, not USB). I am hoping it lasts longer since the switch is electronic. If and when this one fails, I will update this review. Until then, 5 stars and highly recommend.

Connected Lenovo ThinkPad laptop with ThinkPad USB-C UltraDock and HP EliteBook laptop to the shared 27 Samsung monitor and the wireless Logitech keyboard/mouse set. Everything worked like a champ! The package contained 2 USB Type B connectors cables, and no VGA cables. Very nice feature - its a self-powered device via USB connections from the laptops.
