> 3 dayI purchased this tensioner for my Ender 3 V2 after getting a little carried away tightening the Y-axis belt and breaking the stock tensioner. This was a cheaper option than purchasing a OEM part and a much better alternative. The tensioner is all metal and I have zero fear of overtightening and breaking it. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone wanting to upgrade.

> 3 dayMakes it much easier to properly tension the belt for the Ender 3 Y axis. You should also get the adjuster for the X axis as well.

> 3 dayI have a Ender 3 Pro and the bed carriage crashes into this tensioner. <--READ UPDATE! UPDATE 9/28/21 : If you use Bigtreetechs firmware for the SKR Mini/TFT35 they change the default bed size to 235x235 instead of the default 220x220 and this will cause the pom wheels on the Y axis to hit this tensioner. To fix this change it back to 220x220!

Greater than one weekIf the carriage inside width was just smidge wider the problem I experienced could be avoided, and this thing could be hacked to use the original bearings in the Creality tensioner mechanism. For me, the pulley itself is rubbing on the tension carriage adding dragging and screeching. If the part were better designed, they could give some relief to hold the center of the bearing in place yet leave clearance for the pulley. Or the whole center part of the carriage could be made wider and some thing washers inserted to create the clearance. And this should really be using a shoulder bolt instead of a fully threaded M5 part so the bearings are riding on a shaft instead of undersized thread.

> 3 dayFor the Ender-5 Plus, youre going to need three of these. One for the X-axis, and two for the dual-belted Y-axis. Installation is fairly straight forward and obvious. I have noticed a significant improvement in print quality since I am now able to better fine tune the tension. Recommended.

> 3 dayUniTak3D Upgrade Y-axis Belt Tensioner for Ender 3 3D Printer 4020 Aluminum Profile Our Ender 3 really should have just come with this. The stock tensioner is just sad and imprecise. Belt tensions is one of those tuning items that well all need to do, and repeat as the belts age. Installing this was pretty easy. I did it a little differently than normal I didnt want to bother with detaching the belt. When I got the old adjuster off, I had to take off the large bolt with the pulley on it. Not a big deal. I did the same attaching the new one. I took the bolt out, so I could put the pulley behind the belt. When youre setting it up, you have to do some alignments. You want the belt to be traveling down the center of the beam, not on either side. If it goes to the side, its going to cut the belt, and then youll be replacing the whole belt. Its just a matter of loosening the screws on one side, and pulling it left, right, up, or down, as appropriate. Its not a big deal, and something youd have to do with any of them. There is one thing I dont like. The quality of the pulley. The stock one was much nicer quality, and didnt have the grooves. We dont need grooves on the idler, just on the drive pulley. Unfortunately, the stock pulley wont fit into this new tensioner. Im not sure that it enough to lower the score. Lets call it a 4.5 instead of a 5, but Amazon doesnt allow for that kind of granularity. If the manufacturer is reading this, please put a better pulley on there. Someone else may reduce their review score because of it.

> 3 dayRight Bracket, wrong bolt and wrong bearings to hold the belt. Both dont even fit in the bracket! Look somewhere else

> 3 dayI have 3 Standard Ender3s and this is a much needed upgrade. The price is low enough I am not sure why anyone wouldnt pick this up. It does not come with wrenches but the kit you got with your printer has everything you need. Once I found the sizes I need I uninstalled previous tension-er and had this upgrade installed in a little under 3 minutes for each of the 3 printers. All metal design gives a good quality feel. The knob lets me decide how tight I need to belt to be.

> 3 dayI installed this on a Longer LK1 (Alfawise U20) and is does exactly what I wanted it to. This part is well designed and manufactured with precision. Surfaces are smooth and square with no burrs and the bearing is quality. It also ships with quality fasteners/hardware.... not the cheap, mass produced stuff that usually comes with attachment pieces and easily strips or elongates. Purchase with confidence - you wont be disappointed.
