> 3 daySupper easy to install makes adding tension to the x axis simple I like the fact the the bearing is groved for the belt. Should help prevent layer shifts

> 3 dayI have 3 Standard Ender3s and this is a much needed upgrade. The price is low enough I am not sure why anyone wouldnt pick this up. It does not come with wrenches but the kit you got with your printer has everything you need. Once I found the sizes I need I uninstalled previous tension-er and had this upgrade installed in a little under 3 minutes for each of the 3 printers. All metal design gives a good quality feel. The knob lets me decide how tight I need to belt to be.

> 3 dayI purchased this tensioner for my Ender 3 V2 after getting a little carried away tightening the Y-axis belt and breaking the stock tensioner. This was a cheaper option than purchasing a OEM part and a much better alternative. The tensioner is all metal and I have zero fear of overtightening and breaking it. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone wanting to upgrade.

> 3 dayFor the Ender-5 Plus, youre going to need three of these. One for the X-axis, and two for the dual-belted Y-axis. Installation is fairly straight forward and obvious. I have noticed a significant improvement in print quality since I am now able to better fine tune the tension. Recommended.

> 3 dayInstalled and worked fine. Normally would get 4 or 5 stars from me. But after a couple months my printer got really loud during printing. When I held the tensioner it stopped. Turned out the bearings are crud. Took it apart and cleaned it. Tiny little bearing turned 20 qtips rusty orange. Its already sounding bad again so Ill be buying some bearings and replacing them. Highly recommend disassembling, decreasing, and relubricating the bearings with something more resistant to rust.

> 3 dayReplaced a printed (PLA) tensioner on my CR-10 mini that came apart after a year or two of wear and tear. While I like printing mods in general, this is just more solid, easy to adjust and fits the rail and belt perfectly. The old printed mod was a little off and had some wiggle that led to some annoying belt rubbing from time to time.

05-06-2025If the carriage inside width was just smidge wider the problem I experienced could be avoided, and this thing could be hacked to use the original bearings in the Creality tensioner mechanism. For me, the pulley itself is rubbing on the tension carriage adding dragging and screeching. If the part were better designed, they could give some relief to hold the center of the bearing in place yet leave clearance for the pulley. Or the whole center part of the carriage could be made wider and some thing washers inserted to create the clearance. And this should really be using a shoulder bolt instead of a fully threaded M5 part so the bearings are riding on a shaft instead of undersized thread.

Greater than one weekGreat tensioner, well built. As someone mentioned, if your bed size is set to 235mm, the Y carriage will hit the tensioner, not a problem for me since I upgraded to linear rails.
