Im still using this sponge filter for over a year now and it is still doing the job perfectly! I use it in a 20g fry tank along with a hang on back filter. The tank is over stocked and very crowded with huge number of Cichlids fry 1/2-2 however, the water is crystal clear. It is heavy and stays in the bottom of the tank. I clean it every other water change by squeezing it in a bucket filled with the tank water to keep the beneficial bacteria.

Works great. Got this filter for 29 gallon fresh water quarantine tank. Seeded it with healthy bacteria from my display tank for a few months before buying more fish to quarantine. Delivered on time.

Huge filter taht is perfect for my 20 gallon tank. I wouldnt suggest it for a tank smaller than 20 gallons though. Note..you need your own bubbler and hose to make this product work.
