> 3 dayThis is worth every penny. Great suction. Works awesome. Very good quality. One pump will suck out a large ground hole.

> 3 dayVery little play in the construction, parts only move exactly how theyre intended to.

> 3 dayWhen I started with electronics 20 years ago in an underfunded high school class, desoldering was a huge pain. We either had the rubber bulb solder suckers or wick. Neither did the job particularly well or were very easy to use. Now as an adult hobbyist I came looking for something better to replace the same old junky rubber bulb I had used for so long - I cannot believe I waited so long. This pen style sucker is so quick and easy it will end up saving you time and frustration. No more hulking off mostly unsoldered pieces and breaking a trace. No more squeezing the little bulb frantically trying to get enough suction. No more wasteful wick that is sometimes unruly and ineffective. Metal construction, replaceable tip, one handed operation. It actually works! What more could I ask for?

Greater than one weekThere are three main things I like about this tool...its compact size, the silicone tip, and the strong and quick suction. I have used the longer and heavier devices for decades, and they do work, but this one works a lot better. It is small enough to easily fit my small hands and allow one handed operation. The piston is light enough to move quickly without a lot of kick back. The silicone tip is flexible enough to make a good seal over a small soldering iron tip so it completely clears through-holes. The build quality and materials make it just work.

> 3 dayQuality tool that makes desoldering components a breeze. Im only disappointed I didnt get one sooner. The silicone tube on the end is great for creating a seal around the molten solder so it is all sucked up. You can unscrew the nozzle on the end to empty out all of the solder bits when youre done.

> 3 dayBest of the manual solder vacuums. Well built, buy the spare silicone tubes. Good value, easy to handle.

> 3 dayWish Ive known this was out there. I used it few minutes it got delivered. Very easy to use and works like a dream. Sucks the melted solder clean off the circuit board. The build quality is geat and I am sure it will last for a long time. The extra tube is a great touch.

> 3 dayIve used all sorts of different solder suckers, and this has been undoubtedly the best yet. I have a BK-3000 solder sucker (eclectronic, probably $200) that I bought thinking Id need one - but turned out to be a pain in the butt as every ten or so operations I had to stop everything and clean the gun out taking me fifteen minutes or so. Thats one reason I prefer the manual method, but the primary reason is this unit isnt high suction which can pull off pads or traces or through-holes. The included silicon tip (high temp artificial rubber?) allows me to get right on top of the through-hole to make pads clean through again. Be aware, though - youll want to buy more of that silicon tip material. I have about 20 feet of it because even after cleaning, after some time of use, a 600 degree+ soldering iron will break this down.

> 3 dayI wish I would have bought this long ago. Works as well as advertised. Desoldering is such a pain that I was considering buying a desoldering gun just to do simple jobs. The rubber tubing is super resilient, and doesnt melt even when directly applied to the joint you’re desoldering at very high temps. I bought one extra replacement pack that will probably last me a decade plus. Well made; doesn’t feel cheap at all.
