VEGAS Movie Studio 17

Oh boy where do I start? I’ve used Vegas software for a while now and I’ve gotten way too used to it I would say. After losing Vegas I thought I could try out some freeware to no avail. Most of the stuff I tried had watermarks and stuff like that but to my surprise, there was a cheaper alternative to Vegas Pro that is literally the same! I bit the bullet and bought it and what do ya know, its great! Vegas makes premium products and it shows with this editing software. Sure, it takes a bit to learn everything but its so much more rewarding when you do.

Die Produktverpackung war auch gleich die Versandtverpackung, war an einer Ecke aufgerissen und eingedellt. Der Inhalt der Produktverpackung war sehr spartanisch. Ein Stück Pappe zu Stabilisierung, ein Zettel mit den Registrierkeys und eine CD in einer Papierhülle. Im ersten Moment dachte ich, ich wurde betrogen und mir wurde eine Raubkopie geschickt. Doch die Registrierung gelang auf Anhieb, war sehr einfach und auch die Installation verlief ohne Probleme. Die Handhabung des Programms ist sehr nutzerfreundlich und sehr intuitiv wenn man ein gewisses Grundwissen im Umgang mit Videobearbeitungssoftware hat. Alles in allem, es tut was es verspricht.

This software is riddled with bugs. This what I have encountered so far.

Dont buy it is a scam

now i know what you think another BS one star from somebody that may not have used it. I got it at best buy and used 8 and 12 as those dont work anymore really, I got 17 thinking well a updated version should work. Found out the reason it crashes it that it wont accept .mts files anymore basic camcorder files. So you have to convert to MP4 just to put them in vegas. its just like 12 and stuff sure. For the most part. I didnt have that issue like some other poeple. But be prepared to spend a hour or 2 fixing bugs before you can use it properly if you are using a camcorder and they usally all record in .MTS files. It seems to work fine after a few tweeks and stuff and converting the files however. does take a while to render as well.

Thought this would be a good beginner editing software. WRONG! right off the bat, will not import/load simple MP4 or MOV files. Most basic file type!! Read threads on in-depth way to bypass, but shouldn’t have too do that on my first attempt. Returning and will go with something better!
