Greater than one weekThese are so good! Clear and bright. As good or better than the expensive brands. The carrying case is good.

> 3 dayI tried the Vortex Diamondback HD 8x28. Didnt care for eye relief, needs more. I like to hold binoculars up to my eye brow to help steady them. The 8x28 require me to hold them off my brow a bit to find the sweet spot to see in order to get a full view with out shadows creeping in every which way. They are fine once you find the sweet spot and stick to it. Personally I dont care for holding them off my brow and accepting them being less steady. The 8x28 are a no go for me. However, I then tried the 8x32 (Vortex Diamondback HD 8x32), stellar product! No eye relief issues, easy to find sweet spot, more brightness and better field of view. Strongly recommend the jump to the 8x32. Couples issues though, focus knob to has a tight area with a ratchetting feel that takes a lot of force to overcome while using and the adjustment for interpupillary is also ridiculously to tight. They will need to be a warranty issue before they are just right. Im using them hoping they will break in but not looking good so far.

> 3 dayGreat mid size binoculars. Perfect for hunting. not too big to carry in my pack, awesome visibility, provides a large view, but also zooms in for good detail (see the antlers/count tines perfectly).

Greater than one weekFirst impressions were good, these feel nicely made and are very compact. The focus wheel is very smooth, in fact I would say buttery smooth. I didnt notice any play in the mechanism either, so I was quite impressed. One thing I wasnt used to though, and that was then speed of focus, a small movement of the wheel equals a big change in focus. This isnt an issue for me, more of an observation.

> 3 dayI have no idea why people knock these binos. They are just like the other set of Vortex binos (8.5X42)Raptor I have, unless I just like clear lens and a great value. I bought these to bring the back yard closer and even though 1.5 power doesnt sound like much, what a huge difference. The first time I saw deer in the back field I could see them like I was right next to them. Love Vortex products and will purchase them before anything else.

Greater than one weekHuge upgrade for me from some old tasco binoculars. Great quality. I bought a maven case to use on my boat for a more compact case over the glasspak. Pics for reference. Im going with the compact case over the mid size. Too much play with the mid size. The compact maven is nice and snug.

> 3 dayIm an avid birder and was looking to upgrade my binocs, a friend told me Id have to spend over $1,000 to get a quality pair. I checked these out and looked at the reviews and decided to order them. After a couple of weeks of use Im truly impressed. The quality and features are outstanding. I love the built in lens covers and very well thought out case and strap system. Only recommendation Id make for improvement would be to add clasps to the separate neck strap like the ones on the carrying case.
